@goddammint - i completely agree. every time i read the mangas and think back at how they portrayed the story in the anime, i feel very satisfied that they stopped at 2 episodes. it would've NEVER lived up to the comics...here's hoping the movie is rated R, to say the least :)

I completely agree with you.I grew up watching anime from even in the Late 70's before it was really called anime here and I think that "awesome" anime kind of ended around 2000.1980-90 were like the golden period of anime. Its not that *ALL* Anime today sucks. its that there is more Crappy anime and you have to really sort out a lot of crap to get the good stuff. I dont get that same *spark* or feeling when I see anime today like I did in the 80's , 90's :( makes me hold on the old directors

The dramatic effects used with the scene & manga clip selections played along nicely together alongside the music. tnx, :D well you know, if you use in dlames, there will mainly be good videos, if you know how to sync, i perssonally relize how much i screwed up the video with some rought effects XD anyways, personally i think that the manga (esspecally the 2nd one) was much more interesting then the anime itself, thats why i wanted to use it in a video :D

Haven't seen Battle Angel in a very long time. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this. I may just have to rummage through my DVDs and watch it again. Incredible action mixed with the manga. It fit so well and this is a unique approach. I like how you try to find songs that haven't been used, that makes it original. Love the fact that you can make metal vids so great. I would go insane if I had to spend that much time on a vid...but it would be worth it.
