I dont like the fact that it doesnt have the disk drive, but there's other ways, like file transfer and external hard drives, if i wanted to spend a lot of money i would get an m17x, that is like a dream to own an m17x, i have had good experience with alienware, they run great, and the extra add-ons like the glow lights, are sick.

i was just wondering and a few people here will say thats a good point I bet you but if this laptop I really NEED! Only has the memory space of 8GB then how am I going to download multiple games when I could only get about for of the games I want. Left4dead2, COD Black Ops and the Valve game library basiclly. I know I could get a flash drive but they run out to quick and that will only get me so far. i cant get an exspensive on either its a waste of money for games. Please help

@MyAwesome420 It's 8GB of RAM. The smallest hard drive is 160 GB, and you can upgrade to I think 500 GB.

ok honestly people, who really NEEDS a disk drive anymore. Games are downloaded off the internet or steam. I cant remember the last time i burnt a CD, ever heard of iTunes? If you need one so bad, get and external. dont let that stop you from buying this.

@kyle7412 No, smooth gameplay is maintaining FPS. If it's steady and stable, without jumpy ass frames, that's all that matters. I'd rather have frame locked at steady 30 FPS with any jumps, then have it fluxiuate.

If you want to use your outdated slow disks buy an external drive. Amazon has one for 10$ specifically for the m11x
