It might only work if you have an expansion pack, but try building the pool first, and then delete parts of it with Ctrl+dragging your mouse... hope that helped

do you mean the foundation inside? well at first, it's not one of the outisde foundations, but an inside one which comes with expansion packs. then, try to put the walls first, and then only the foundation. Finally, i would keep away from those complicated cheats as they only mess up your house... hope i could help you :-)

how did you get your walls to stay up around the foundation? i used the cheat boolProp constrainFloorElevation false and put the foundation in but after that the wall around it disapeard? any idea?

i have sims 2 double deluxe but when you connected the 2 big stair cases, how did u get rid of the railing in the middle?

ah ok now i understand. I didn't use those staircases which take up the whole storie, but i used those u normally use for getting up on verandas, so the short ones which u find in the staircase menu just under the "normal" stairs. It seems quite confusing since i at first thought of putting the big stairs, but i did then put the shorst stairs.

you need to use the stairs in the menu which is under the "big stairs" menu ( so click on stairs in building mode, click then on the sort of drwaing of shorter stairs on your bottom left of the menu, and then choose one which you use to connect a foundation with the ground!)

I think you need to go to options and change the lighting level to the top. I had that happen when i put freetime in because it changes the config to suit your computer.
