its not true. Nothing in the universe is "an accident". look at the how the universe works. its the perfect system for creating, destroying, and recycling. Its the most beautiful thing any body could have ever imagined, and even tho we think we know many many things about the universe, the truth is what we consider the "observable universe" is probably like an atom in a grain of sand sitting on top of a hypergiant star sized object.

this makes no sense, if there is a super massive black hole in the middle of our galaxy, why dosent the black hole destroy our galaxy? wouldnt it start sucking in all the stars closest to it and keep expanding until it eats the whole galaxy??

@beswick1111 Black holes aren't magical vacuums, they have only the gravitational force as the stars that created them because they gain no mass in the process.

Besides this is basically the same idea as "If stars are so massive, why don't the planets fall into the stars".

Well given enough time under proper conditions, they would. But they are held in place long enough due to tangential velocity and inward acceleration. (Basically spinning an object at the end of a rope in the air)

@TheSUPRATY You're somewhat correct; However to say most of it's material is emitted as radiation is incorrect  (unless I am misreading your comment). The bulk of the mass stays with the singularity.

I was attempting a very simplistic explanation because it should have sufficed for a youtube comment where the focus is on gravity rather than x-ray radiation.

All is a mixture of guessworks, imaginations and preconception in the name of science. Has he conducted some experiments that life can come from chemical reactions? Perhaps nobody tell Mr. Steven that Miller's experiment has been ruled out unscientific.

How can science already come to a conclusion that there is no God, when it is still a work in progress? Perhaps, when science makes it one day, the religious nerds will be there greeting it, "Welcome. We have so long waited for you." :)
