@1Gr8ttime I personally wouldn't be concerned about a differential as a novice driver, as that money can be used for more important items such as tires and suspension. But if you are getting one anyway, I'd suggest a Torsen or any aftermarket clutch-type.

having a miata myself i would recommend you a new viscous lsd!! i think you will notice a significant difference in terms of steering and braking!!
