If it's okay to remove someone's foreskin just to prevent diseases, then why is it considered wrong to remove another part of the body to prevent diseases like cancer? @emello4you I think the line you're describing is what is known as the "penile raphe". It's created when the genitals are forming as a fetus, and it's anatomically normal. This is not to be confused with another line that is indeed created by circumcision, and that is the scar line that runs the circumference of the shaft (at varying locations along it). Many men are fucking pissed about this and only learned about it even later in life than you (including this one) so you are not alone.

There has been research into regenerating the foreskin recently using the DNA that still exists for it's creation. It will be a few years of study, but it just might become a reality. At the very least they know the regeneration is possible, they just are not quite sure of how to go about it yet.
