Eels is , both as a solo artist and in band, indeed Genius, I just read his book (things the grandchildren should know) and it only greatens my respect for the man.

People sometimes say he is to depressed, but in my view he balances the ups and downs perfectly, and combines his great lirycs with melody's and music that are just as good.
