  • Thom Hartmann gives a history on the true Tea Party

    youtube.com/watch?v=9UiLZk2TE8k&feature=related

  • What many tea partiers don't know is that the original Boston Tea Party's main complaint was that they were opposed to being taxed by people who were NOT their Elected Representatives. NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION

  • @jrwel14

Most Teabaggers don't know much about the history of this government in general.

  • Here is just another fat corporate pig.

It is hard to keep track of the lies this clown spouts.

How can people swallow this shit, and not choke on it.

  • Koch brothers dicks are so far up the teapartys ass that their balls have shit on them

  • 1:39 The video taped Brain Fart says it all about The Tea Party Movement!

  • Comment removed

  • The TEA PARTY icon Ronald Reagan increased the size of government by a third, increased the deficit and made middle class Americans pay higher taxes. These are all facts as well as history. Sometimes I don't think the Tea Party knows what it stands for.

  • The problem with the Tea Party is their members do not understand simple economic theory. In order for a population to rebound from an economic depression or recession the Government HAS to spend an enormous amount of money! How did the US get out of the Great depression that started in 1929? The New Deal, The WPA, the TVA. Google these government programs if you want to read more. I'm not here to argue with Tea Party people who know neither economics nor history.

  • Regular people supporting the Tea Party is like chickens supporting the Colonel!

  • @1019079 @arsip i feel like you both are not concretely grasping the main ideology of the Tea Party Movement. By sitting here and bickering, you are only furthering the common misconception that it is a radical disenfranchisement motion. In reality, tea parties are all about bringing Americans together and practicing one of the most genius ideas in history- liberty and justice for all. Have you forgotten where we came from?

  • @kelseywho93

and I feel compelled to answer an untruth such as was written about Jones'. He said he wanted life so that he could freely reach in and exchange it with anybody in America. You truly believe that? You think he wants to live the life of a crack addict? or thug? and that it is society's place to make all right for everyone, no matter how they choose to live? He's racist as he can be. And I love the ideology behind the Tea Party; have attended them: Orderly assemblies of protest.

  • Is Sarah Palin an anagram?

  • Sarah Palin is an anagram for anal parish

  • A tea party? Oh yes! I do love a tea party'...cried the Mad Hatter.

  • What a pointless movement.

  • LYNCH MOB PARTY

  • @whataday111

What specific incidences of violence are there to which you refer?

There were more documented instances of thuggery in the voter registrations that ACORN held.

  • @whataday111

Who was lynched? This is still America, land of free speech? The 1st Amendment of the Constitution is still in effect?

So, who was lynched by a Tea Party member? I'll hang up now and await your answer.

  • Poetic justice.CBS was so in the tank for Obama for 2years, hiding all pertinent info that we still dont know college records, everything about his associations were not investigated because CBS wanted the one elected. They got their king and now their ruler is destroying the fabric of our economic base by taxing everything that works. This depression is Obamas and CBS can thank their own lack of journalistic professionalism for their own demise.Katie50% PAYCUT

  • Except that... the Federal government has been downsizing very, very slowly, but steadily since 1974. Deregulation vs. over-regulation has been the order of things since the mid 1980's. And, the internal threats - like the bombing of the Murrah Federal building - were home-grown, out of the hyper jingoistic militia movement... which the teabagger movement mirrors.

It's based on notions vs. facts, and is a rebellion against what it says it cherishes.

  • voyerdung, the gov is getting smaller? hah

God bless the tea partiers, time for some change for the better.

  • @voyeurdug

An irresponsible thing to say: That Tea Party members are all Timothy McVeighs. Wrong. In my case it is a grandmother, with a masters degree, that is horrified at the increasing growth of government (your statement @ "downsizing" is laughable), much like a cancer, that wants to impose itself on every aspect of our lives.

The biggest internal threat we now have sits in the White House.

  • The federal government is NOT getting smaller. It employs 11% of American workers. The fact that you compare "Tea Party" members with bombers that kill chldren conveys your "lack" of understanding of what any of them are about.

How many arrests were there last year for violence? There were MANY tea parties. How many people did they harm? How many were killed?

You can just make up crap out of the air, with no substantive data? Just what "notions vs. facts" crap is it to which you refer?

  • @arslp Actually, I've seen posters like " this time we didn't bring guns." The tea party just thrives on their own ignorance.

  • @1019079

Just where did you see these poster/s? I've been to Tea Parties; and they were peaceful people. There were small business owners; teachers; and typically fiscally conservative people who were protesting government spending. Where did you see these signs? On NBC? - the same station "news" that broke the ACORN scandal 5 days after the BBC broke the story. And you've just chimed in like everyone who watches the "national" news.

  • @arslp On the Washington march. Plus, any republican elected before 2009 has no room to talk on spending. The whole ACORN scandal was actually a highly edited tape put out by fox news, which is also responsible for getting the tide foundation and van jones shot up by a bunch of nut jobs.

  • @1019079

Seriously, how did FOX edit anything to produce the ACORN employee attempting to provide prostitutes? and under aged teenage prostitues at that? Are you even aware what Van Jones said about white people? about Republicans? A self-avowed communist, what is there about him to defend? You tell me that. It's a nut job that thinks Jones is anything less than a squirrely radical. You didn't see squat at the Washington march. You may have heard or read - but you didn't see what you said.

  • @arslp Fox lied about Van Jone's criminal record to suit their won purpose. You still didn't adress all the shootings this network caused. As for communism, quite frankly I don't give a damn. You're paranoid if you think that'd succeed here. I also think prostitution should be legalized anyway. Everybody has the freedom to speak their mind, I don't care what fox news told you about van jones.

  • @1019079

Nothing EVER said about criminal history. His OWN words, here on Youtube are what caused his own demise. How about his allegation that "white" men dumped toxic waste on blacks, blacks don't have Columbines (of course, you have to ignore the senseless shootings and black on black violence done daily to swallow that); then there is the famous name calling of "As_holes" to every Republican. I NEVER watched Fox when Jones resigned. I watched NBC. BTW, underage prostitues r/4 pedophiles.
