Too bad that we lost Howard Dean...he was the BEST thing the Dems ever had as their leader. His 50 state campaign idea was BRILLIANT. I love the man and miss his presence at our helm. Signed, A "Professional Leftie"/
This ad destroyed Howard Dean, completely blew him up. It made voters think--do we really want a rookie in the The White House, or do we John Kerry as President. Dean had a series of misteps, saying that Obama deserved a fair trial and the country wasn't safer because we caught Hussein. Then this add exploded on to the airwaves and, as they say, that was all she wrote for Governor Dean.
Obama is the biggest Chicago Con Man that this country has ever been stupid enough to put in the Oval Office. This incompetent doofus wil be the death of our Republic, if he has his way. OUT in 2012!!
This ad was created by the man who is now Obama's Communications Director. The people behind it -- Kerry & Gephart (and that other loser, Daschle) -- are the ones who entreated Obama to challenge Clinton. They turned over their big funders, organizations and people to the cause early in 2007. Thanks to them, Obama started his campaign with more money (mostly from Wall Street) than any primary candidate in history -- long before his "grassroots" internet fundraising system was in place.
You think Obama isn't a politician? He doesn't take money from big donors? He doesn't have consultants manipulating his image? He isn't carrying water for powerful interests? He's somehow more pure, a "man of the people?" How old are you?
Thanks. I wasn't sure I'd be able to find this little gem. It had a huge impact on Democratic primaries right before Iowa as ex-Kerry campaign staff used it to sabotage Dean right before Iowa. This is a piece of history.

Now it's obvious what a giant scam Obama turned out to be.

@brecksville1 Robert Gibbs was the life responsible for it.

You think Obama is running because of them? Do you also think they're spying on you through your fillings?

@fortunzfavor
Yes, Robert Gibbs was the instigator. He learned Rove's gutter tactics well.

Joe Klein approves this message, I'd guess. But since the message is a guess, how can you go wrong?

Americans are gullible, easily manipulated fools

You could easily replace "Americans" with "the entire population of the world," there.
