The first time I saw that UI I fucking lol'd, but then I realized they are beeing serious. Simple and easy to use, no way to customize it. I wonder if it will even have an file browser. Can you choose the tiles you want on screen? Xbox live?? Good grief - that can take a hike for a start. Same with mobile IE. The standard for mobile web is now the webkit engine. Just build off that - just call it MS Browser if you have to.
also by the time its 2010 shopping season, make sure you optimize the software and get rid of all the slow performance issues you have with switching screen.
also is there a way you can uninstall IE from this phone, it can help you MS. trust me. Also show multitouch zoom feature?

FIND THE PEOPLE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR QUICKY? what a joke. see how iphone does that or how google does that, you just need to type first couple of letters and the search narrows it down on that contact. OH GOD. ms buckle up, running 3 yrs late in this game.
this is Very good. no doubt. as a user here are the 2 shortcomings i have
a) Nonstop vertical diaherra on the home screen - you'd get so lost trying to find what you want when you have 25 tiles
b) MS could really take a lesson yet again from apple on how to navigate to names using a smart keyboard. What's the point of pressing alphabet key to bring up all the alphabets to find out which you want. Reduce one extra tap for the user.
@IMMiniMii Windows 7 kicks ass! It's really the best OS I've ever worked with. WM7 will deffinitally be the best phone OS at the time of it's release.
