To say that they covered the song wouldn't make much sense considering their last studio album was 1994, and they have been around since 1976. Romper Stomper came out in 1992. So, I guess you could be right saying it was made FOR the movie, BUT on the same hand, it wasn't JUST written for a fictional movie.. those were all personal beliefs of the song wrote.
