we had 200" one Feb. back in 1995 I believe. You had to ski black diamonds and point em' straight down for 100 yards before you had enough speed to start linking turns. even then, you had to make mild turns to avoid losing speed and getting stuck in the shoulder-high powder. it was nuts! Steamboat has the best snow hands down!
