  • It's funny because he says how she's become kind of gray, but swans aren't exactly colorful by themselves.

  • Such an under appreciated band....lost in the whole stones and beatles tidalwave with the irony being that they were at least as good.

  • Awesome song. Awesome album. Only weak point is "Time of the Season," and that's only because I have heard it so many times.

  • @MrShupe Imagine the Swan was not on the original release of O&O,and for a good reason, since only 2/5 of the band was active in the production.

  • he doesn't say "and stay in my room", he says "and it's there in my room".

  • I get the feeling Freddie and the boys from Queen heard this especially at 1:24.

    Great lost album.

  • Zombies...the greatest band, together with The Kinks and The Beatles!

  • Take a lesson boys and girls, and don't loose your breath or ticket!!!

  • Brillant! The last song of the Zombies group. With Rick Birkett (on guitar), Jim Rodford (bass). Without Colin Blunstone, Paul Atkinson and Chris White.

Next song is under the name Argent.

  • so good... will we ever have truthful pop/tuneful music ever again? no statements or subcultural statements. just undeniably good music. no one can say this song is poor...

  • if you think this is the best song these guys have ever done , you haven't heard much of the ZOMBIES

  • @ekimkamidar377 haha actually, i have all their material. and this is my favorite song. other than the way i feel inside

  • @adambell666 Actually, I don't ever remember hearing this tune, back in the day.I only have one album, so I guess I am more familiar with the pop hits these guys had out. This is a very nice tune. Unless I was so stoned at the time, I heard it and didn't like it at the time. Funny how years change your taste in music. For the record, Rod Argent was the keyboard player in the Zombies, and when on to found Argent.(Hold Your Head Up) But you probably knew that.. Long live The Zombies.

  • and the truth on my face was hard to disguise

  • I agree this is their finest hour! The Stones didn't reach this height with "She's a Rainbow". Also, Queen should pay these guys royalties for appropriating their style!

  • zombies best song in my opinion. the drums kill in this track!!! and i love the harpsichord sound.

  • non mi piace

  • Well i have a picture in color of you,and stay in my room to remind me of you.....great song, the zombies one of the best group of sixties

  • the song is on a recent album(probably a a re-release) called odyssey and oracle. very good album. this is one of my favorite zombies songs. i attach it to a particular girl in my life.

  • no it aint

  • imba!

  • This song is on "Absolutely The Best" - The Zombies Greatest Hits

  • Where can you find this?

  • try to find 'odyssey and oracle'. its a very good zombies album and this song is on it.

  • Really love this song, and everything the Zombies do. All the lovely, lush harmonies that only they can do. Thanks for this.

  • beautiful, sad song

  • i love the zombies and 'oddesey and oracle'

  • Beautiful song!!!

  • this song is amazing....one of the best of its day. the keyborads , the harmonies, the drums. this song is classic.

  • Lovely

  • temazo de aquellos!!

    aguante the zombies

  • Yeah, Rod has such a good voice.

  • One of their best songs, the keyboard player sings this one. I always felt that they should have ended Odyssey and Oracle with this song, since that album was their swan song.

  • That´s a very good point, ClevelandSteamer. I had never thought that, but it would have been a perfect ending to that album (which is absolutely marvelous anyway). Long live the Zombies

  • This may have been recorded post-Odessey and may have actually been recorded by a prototype "Argent", with possibly only Rod Argent of The Zombies on it; not sure though.

  • I love this song. It's the first time I hear it!
