It was such a beautiful ship. Beautiful and menacing at the same time. You really can't paint Nemo as a bad guy, since he's just vengeful and wants to stop war and bloodshed by attacking the seagoing supply lines and live free under the sea.
It was Ned who betrayed Nemo that led to the tragic loss of the Nautilus by throwing the bottle messages overboard. I liked his character but if he wants his freedom so bad, Nemo should've marooned him on some deserted island. Or one with cannibals.
