  • SAfe.

  • Safe... that's an easy call even at full speed. There was no "Tie" or anything along those lines (the major league rulebook doesn't even acknowledge the word "Tie", he either beat the throw or he didn't), the runner CLEARLY beat the throw.

  • safe.

  • safe by half a step. really if u pause it at the right time it wasn't even close

  • First of all whoever said a tie goes to the runner is an idiot, there is no such thing as a true "tie". The runner could be there a millisecond before the play or after its close but no tie. On that note, if the player makes a great play and the umpire can't tell, he awards the fielder. If they bobble it and it's hard to tell, the runner gets the base. He was safe and who the hell would slide on concrete for the dumb guy that said that..? Btw I learned the umpire stuff from a legit AAU umpire..

  • @00bravesfan if there is no such thing as a tie, then why would they make that rule?....

  • @BakerBro360 That's the whole point, Baker. There is NO SUCH RULE in the rulebook!

  • Safe. Easy.

  • he was safe

  • SAFE

  • safe

  • safe

  • Safe the ball never hit him

  • P.S., he was safe. In there by a mile. You don't even need to pause it to show he's safe. Plus, in a real game, no catcer in the WORLD (not even Mauer or Pudge) could snag the ball and slap a tag down that quickly.

  • haha clearly safe not even close the ball hit him like 2 steps after he touched home

  • safe and u guys suck

  • he was S A F E SAFE SAFE SAFE

  • 1. u guys suck u should be jacking every pitch outta there if u play with a tennis ball 2. he was safe

  • safe he had his foot down when it hit him

  • he was on the plate and the ball hit him knee so safe

  • safe

  • safe

  • safe it missed him.anyways if it hit him,it wouldn't of hit the back stop,it would of dropped and rolled somewhere

  • out

  • safe by a mile

    u guys r dicks

  • you guys suck

  • out

  • out

  • definately safe

  • way safe

  • safe

  • safe

  • safe

  • if u ask me on 2:37 the runners foot is in the process of planting onto the plate. The ball is a good 3 to 4 feet away from the runner. I say he was safe because on the start of 2:37 you can see it rickashay on the left side of the runner when the runner was clearly on the plate. Close play, but the runner was safe.

  • hes safe cause if there was a catcher he would just slide under the catcher and cause tie goes to the runner!! srry fielder

  • he was out if your playing cross outs

  • safe

  • safe

  • im guesing you mean if the ball hit the net before runner hit home plate...ill comment again i will g over it

  • safe even if it did touch him which i dont think it did

  • whats the other song besides eye of the tiger

  • he was safe because if it hit him it would of went towards the pitchers mound and it went into the net

  • safe!

  • he's out because if there's a play at the plate you have to slide.

  • ah hah hah hah hah hah hah h

  • WHAT?! You don't have to slide on a close play! That's little league, this is a PICKUP game! And you actually expect him to slide on pavement?!

  • it doesnt matter they couldent tag him quick enough anyway

  • safe

  • safe

  • safe by a mile ball never touched him

  • r u guys from wilton?

  • safe

  • safe

  • tie goes to the runner ssssssssssaaaaaaaaaafffffffffeeeeeeee

  • Tie goes to the runner? Where did you get this one? This is complete MYTH! The rules don't say anything about a tie. He was safe or he wasn't, end of story.

  • @dano217 your an idiot. a myth? no its a rule. hahahahahahahahah

  • @jkrute9 Hey fuckstick, check your rulebook. Nothing in there about a tie going to the runner. Sorry, you lose, fail, try again on another video.

  • @jkrute9 No it's not a rule, check your rulebook and quote the rule, asshole.

  • @dano217 True, it isn't a rule but neither is being able to throw the ball at someone to get them out.

  • @PIWI033 Obviously in a game of this nature, there's not enough players for a real game, and throwing at the runner is acceptable to record an out. Assuming that the backbone of the rulebook stayed the same, and the only rules that were modified were those necessary to accomidate a backyard game without a full team on each side, then ties should STILL not be going to the runner, since it's STILL not a rule.
