That's quite the over-generalization. "Anything" ? Really? Are you referring to the play, because I'm pretty sure Mormons appreciated Macbeth before some BYU adaptation came along.

I dont think that an application of the arts to any culture is a bad thing. Sometimes it can be corny, but if its well done then it can be very interesting.
