yo, bro everything was nicely done, but one thing you need to do is show how good the lights strobe on the walls. I seen my dj friend use this thing, and it really is amazing how much light projects on the walls. I think the ceiling was too high for this example. Just try and keep the unit closer to the wall, cuz it really looks neat when all the lights are close, and it looks like the lights are coming from something massive. But I have only see this on video.
short intro, shows you the item up close, with no music, shows you some of the effects and then demos the unit with dance music. Buddy, you are getting a thumbs up for the no non-sense approach to making this video.
Good Video! I bought one on your recommendation. Will play with it for a week and might get a second for Master Slave mode. I mainly DJ local school events and dances...any thoughts whether a DMX controller is worth it? I've been using audio mode up till now but wonder if the hassle of programming DMX is worth it...
Thank you for actually using electronica for the demo...most these other doofs keep using rock music only and these were mostly designed for DJ/techno and EM rhythm...good review dude
Absolutely phenomenal video! I am not a dj, but run lights for special group exercise classes at my gym. I am so sick of looking at vids that show the light iitself but you showed what it looked like on the wall and that is what counts for my venue--its big. I run sound active, so this was a huge help. You should do some other demos. Excellent job.
hey great review. I just bought two of these and i want to run them sound active.. By any chance is there a way i can control what channel they r on instead of having to click the button every time on the light? thanks alot.
no. there's no way that i have seen. there might be an additional simple controller produced by chauvet to controll them. that is a drawback if you don't use dmx. we don't yet. good luck with them
These along with the Colorstrips are AMAZING lights. They are extremely bright so much you wish you could dim them but you can't. If you do events with older people, consider the ADJ line of these products as they can dim. I chose the strips over these as because I could mount them above my scanners.
which do you think is better, color pallete or american dj colorburst 8?! thank you

@vicesiadmire they're the small 1/4 watt LEDs. But they sure are bright

@TalkingTreesLtd. I really don't think its necessary. It just depends on what you want to do with them.

Do You have any chauvet min spots or min washes ? Im new to the lighting do you need a dmx controller if you just want to use the sound? Thanks
LadyGaGaVIDS 2 years ago
No we do not have any min spots or washes. No, they will run fine without a dmx controller if you want to use the sound to light feature.
