Just because they are Arabs they are not necessarily racist. I don't mind watching African news, but they are often of such poor quality that it gets tiring to try to watch them. Also it often takes an outsider without any tribal connections to see the bigger picture.

As a West African I spend a considerable amount of time in Nigeria. Some programs they produce there are excellent, some average and some quite dumb. I agree that obviously people who know the culture and background are obviously better equipped to understand what is really going on, but it is not the case every time. It is NOT racist to produce information that supports a different point of view, only you need to be aware of the possible bias the reporter may have.
