A year and a half later after losing three key players involved with this comeback, I still get the most incredible chills when I watch this video. My friends and I went so crazy that I ended up smashing my head on my cieling and bleeding all through intermission and OT. One of my last memories with my grandmother before she passed away last summer was her taking me to the ER after this game with one hell of a story to tell the doctors. I miss you grandma, and LETS GO BUFFALO!
I miss these days. The only guy left from this team will be Miller thanks to Golisano and Co. Vanek too but I personally would have preferred the 4 first round draft picks and $7 million to let him go to Edmonton.
Yes, Roy is one of the better players along with Pomminville. Hecht, Kotalik, Maxim, Peters, Connolly and pretty much the entire defense, I could do without.
Mair-Paille-Peters/MacCarthur/Ryan as the forwards, and the defense isn't changing so yeah. Also we got a solid back-up in Jocelyn Thibault now! No more Ty Conklin! Hah :)
Philedelphia will be better next year with Jason Smith, Joffrey Lupul and Danny Briere I think but not playoff material quite yet. The Rangers I just can't possibly see winning a cup anytime in the near future. As for the Sabres, with those two gone a lot more pressure is put on the R-A-V line as well as the Defense that cannot get injured this year -.- they'll also need the kids like Stafford and MacCarthur to be good 3rd/4th liners next year.

I was outside at the party at the plaza. The people there were just screaming and running around like we won the cup. AHH I get chills when I watch this and I get really happy. hah. But this was the most amazing game of the year. wow. And Drury it my hero. I hope he stays, I like love him. no lie

sam rosen puts me to sleep. If that's his intention, then he's the best at what he does. However, if his intention is to call an exciting hockey game, then he fails miserably and can learn a lot from the greatest, Rick Jeanneret. Sam Rosen can always work on it during the offseason :)

Why does Drury think his best spot is around on the left side behind Vanek? Not only did he have to get it by 2 Ranger defenders and a goalie, but his own guy, too. I think most guys would have slid to the right side after the pass for a deflection or rebound, but...hey, maybe that's the way Ruff drew it up. Drury is spooky, man.

I was being serious. The announcer does suck. I love how this asshole up here just assumes that I am a NY Rangers fan just because I do not like the announcer. So full of it. For your information, I was cheering for Buffalo. Want a good announcer? Listen to Ralph Strangis and Daryl Reaugh for Dallas sometime. They are excellent.

Well, I like thye Sabres more than ottawa. They play hockey that is fun to watch. I do know an aweful announcer when I hear one. HAving spent years listening to Ralph and Razor as well as Josh Lewin and Tom Grieve and John Miller and Joe Morgan. I know what good announcers are loke. This guy is not a good announcer

I recall Drury sitting in the box for a shitty hooking penalty that should never have been called at the beginning of OT. NY also got away with 2 interference calls, a too many men and a trip on Connolly throughout the game. Another NYC team bites the dust at the hands of Buffalo! Cry for me you bitch! HAHAHA
