Alexio started his martial arts career with tang soo do under Steve Clark.  His kicking prowess obviously reflected his Korean training. During his prime, he had been coached by another tang soo do stylist, Ralph Alegria. Yes, he had a short career as a pro boxer as well. His boxing skill was developed by Al Lagardo of Vacaville,CA, where Alexio grew up.
