  • The biggest question is: what did and is this man doing in real life?

  • I have to money to go to college, i'm not sure what I wanna do as a career yet but I do think that if I go to college I won't be closing any doors to opportunity I mean if you can go to college without going into debt, my take on it is it is a good idea. There are alumni networks that can help you get a job after you graduate.

  • @PeterGriffen2100 I'm glad to hear that you won't get into debt. Networking can be a great tool for careers. Thanks for watching. All the best to you in your career.

  • "tha man" is paying for my college but I'm not partying all the time like a damn fool. To be honest.... I just have nothing else to do so DAMN! might as well go to class ROAR!

  • should i go to College

  • @MtnDewSodaRS If you have to get student loans to go to college, my answer is no. A lot of people go to college because it's a respectable thing to do in order to delay making decisions. Then they get stuck with student loan debt and their choices are really limited. Don't let anyone pressure you into college, unless they are willing to pay for all of it. Thanks for watching. Send me a message if you have any questions.

  • I think it depends on what experiances you want and whether you want to learn. I was home educated so wasn't in state education and i was always encorouged to do what I love. I always thought I wanted to be a teacher (which you need a degree for as well) and then i found a passion for management in theatre and the arts. Although theatre dosn't need a BA as I am disabled i can't work my way up ladders and hierachy so well so if your thinking of not going or going weigh up all your options and see

  • @ellsstuff I am now at drama school studying a BA :D at my first choice.

  • @ellsstuff All the best to you in your career! Thanks for your comments.

  • Dude, your creepy....and I like it lol. It's a great way to scare off people to not go to college lol. My dad always made feel like a fucking loser for not succeeding in college. He's got millions, but is very stingy with me. But after finding out how much of a scam college is, I can say that I finally feel better now. I wanted to major in Film & Television, and you don't even need to go to college for that. But i was still told...."Go To College".

  • @Pecker6914 I'm glad my creepiness has some benefit, ha ha! I'm glad you found out what a scam college is. If you're into film, my friend Seth Hymes (who went to film school) exposes the film school scam and teaches what people really need to know for tens of thousands of dollars less than film school. You can Google him. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!

  • My current employment will not hire people as non-hourly permanent unless they at least have a bachelor's degree. This means you literally make less money. In fact, if you have a master's you make even more. I will admit the college education system is not perfect, nor is it as affordable as it should be. But my degree tells employers (the type of employers that really pay well) that I am capable of self-motivating and understand fundamentals of communication.

  • Some companies have an arrogant attitude about college graduates. If a company refuses to hire someone simply because they don't have a dumbed-down B.A. degree, they are foolish, arrogant, and discriminatory. The colleges have trained us to say that college degrees show that someone is motivated and is a good communicator. Most employers know this is not true since college has become so dumbed down. They'll be videos soon about employers discussing the lack of functional literacy among grads.

  • @DontGoToCollege Let me ask you this: What can you tell me about anthropology? What can you tell me about sociology? Psychology? I went to an art college and got a bachelor's of science in game design, and I do not regret that decision. The only thing I do regret is not taking it seriously enough. But my outlook on life and the world was drastically altered due to what I learned even in the non-art-related classes. Where do you propose to obtain this type of structured education besides college?

  • @MAUL0r1 I know enough about anthropology, sociology, and pscy as I need to. I've lived in other countries and I've read books to learn about societies and culture. I do not need to attend overpriced lectures with overpriced textbooks and under qualified professors to learn. It sounds like you attended a college that taught you marketable skills. That's great. I do not think "structured education" is necessary for most things. Most educational structures that exist now do not benefit students.

  • @DontGoToCollege these days most colleges are moving towards e-readers to cut the cost of text books (and it's greener). Additionally, there's a lot of funding that can make college essentially free if you're willing to do the work (which is what having a college degree tells potential employers, that you're willing to do the work). I think your channel should be "only go to college if you are willing to do the work" and "don't go to crappy colleges". Lumping colleges together as a whole is lame

  • @MAUL0r1 Textbooks on e-readers are in the beginning stages. E-reader manufacturing requires a lot of mercury pollution, metal mining, and petroleum so it's not really greener. I think it's very difficult to go to college for free, if someone can do it, that's great. I would classify the overwhelming majority of colleges as "crappy" since they're ran by state government bureaucrats who do things at high cost and low quality. Thanks for your comments - they are always thought provoking.

  • @probrojeffro times change my friend, times change... 20 years ago programmers weren't a dime a dozen... ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @MAUL0r1 Certainly times have changed, but I have several friends who got their IT jobs the same way, even though those jobs are more Internet and desktop based. And I've learned that the individual is in control if that is one's choice. I have been coaching such a mindset for some time to great success.

  • The benefits of college keep going down because colleges and universities are being flooded with stupid people who expect the piece of paper is going to earn them money, not their ability to do a job.

  • @paganwheels So true

  • Yes, well put.

  • @paganwheels You've got that right. As a college professor who only got into the system to REALLY see the key issues from the inside / out, to start my coaching business to REALLY help students, future employee, business owners, etc. time and again, even after I've dispelled the myths, lies, mis-truths, omissions, and commissions I see my students still mesmerized by the lie that this degree is the end all and the cure all. IT IS NOT!

  • @probrojeffro Please keep us up to date on your coaching business. It sounds like you have a real passion to help young adults live the life that they want. I'd like to feature you in a video or on the blog. Keep up the good work!

  • Most high paying jobs have something to do with Wall Street steal

  • David Evans . . :3

  • first im not from us i dont have a high school diploma or college dgreee i learned english by myself and im workin now i dont get a big salary but if all the people have college degree so no one its gone a have a job so we need plomber mechanic Farmer ... etc and if you love something just do it and you good at it so you Worth the salary and all above that only rich people Benefit from college poor dont have a chance and people here who they said i get 120 000 a year its all from poorpeopletaxes

  • @abdoak99 It's great that you took the initiative to learn English. I admire that fact that you don't define yourself by what degree you have. I wish I had learned this earlier in life. Thanks for your comment.

  • thank you soo much i dont have any dgree but i educated my self by my self i do cuz the school system its corrupted in my country and i think in the whole world so i prefer to educated my self by books internet ...etc and i perfer life school or street school what a combination you have then better than college cuz some goverment workers or drs. or teachers they do what they read in books but people like me they seek and and experience life things then your gone have a great source of knowledge.

  • @DontGoToCollege hey your right about that, i graduated from high school and did not attend college, to my opinion it was too expensive, and your right law, science, and medicen you can get a good job, but you must have the gift for that and its too long to study 8 long years!!! you know mabey one day ill open a bussiness one day, and thank you for your video.

  • @Nate37982 All the best to you in your business. Thanks for watching.

  • I...am...a...robot.

  • @cmarshall497 ha ha, yeah, I over enunciated a little didn't I? It was my first video and I don't know why I was so uptight. Oh well, hopefully I've loosened up over time. Thanks for watching.

  • lmao

  • @FreshAzImis92 I'm glad I made you laugh!

  • The sad thing is we still live in a society where you are allowed to drop out of high school for no reason at all. It's OK if you don't want to pursue higher education....crap, we need people to dig ditches and Super Size....but if you can't finish high school, I don't know where you go from there. Yea, sure, 1 in 1,000 becomes a master tradesman and makes 100k a year, but I think it's unfair that there's a caste system in every level of education - where you go matters more than if you go.

  • @redoctober90 Well-stated. I attended Carnegie-Mellon University. Utter waste of money and time. Then again, I am an artist, and did not need CMU to pursue that. Many professions do require the training which a degree, or multiple degrees, provide. And getting into any particular profession is the only reason to go, if required to do so. An education can be acquired at a public library and, now, over the internet. But I want my doctor, dentist, etc. to be as highly trained as possible.

  • this is really irresponsible advice education is the savior of humanity

if you are in high school don't listen to this focus only on your school work, BE A NERD take ap courses study take the sat prep, focus and read, get exercise by playing a sport and stay focused and commited, dont give up, it may be painful but in the long term it is sooo worth it really just learn to manage your time and do your very best!

  • @boogiebuddy01 You're an idiot.

  • I find your blank expressionless face frightening

  • @twizelby ha ha, sorry didn't mean to scare you! I don't why I was so uptight. This was my first video. Hopefully, I've loosened up over time.

  • One thing that is for sure: You need to have something after high school. Military, tech school, college, whatever. We're in the type of society where you can't go down to the mill at 18 where your father worked, talk to his boss the foreman, and start working a week after HS graduation. Education is worth nothing unless you learned a skill along with it. And companies nowadays have less and less incentive to hire anyone, so plan on making less and working more to put food on the table.

  • @redoctober90 Thank you Albert Einstein for pointing out the obvious.

  • @dutytocareforothers You're welcome, Sir Melvin Udall of East Brooklyn. :P

  • youtube.com/watch?v=op3yI0KzsCE this solves everything

  • You Are my Hero Man. Together We can beat the System.

  • @TheAldsf Wow, thanks! I appreciate you watching the videos. Let's beat the system.

  • @TheForeverSoulless You're a teacher?? It's "laid" not "layed".

  • lol at 1:16.

  • BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....................BAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA................. hes a 30 year old virgin isnt he ? (my reaction from that vid)

  • I actually spoke to an electrician/lecturer during a class here at a community college here in Pittsburgh regarding trade school. He said in general, yes, you will make more in the trades than you do in college...however, he also told me that it's not easy to make it there either. Essentially two years school and five years apprenticeship before you are making the big bucks. In the meantime, you make as much as a college graduate. That and you need a "sponsor", or reference to get in the union.

  • @redoctober90 thansk for the advice..a very clear and logical explanation

  • i really hope this catches on and less people go to college. more grant and scholarship money for me :)

btw a high school diploma doesn't get you anywhere either, might as well drop out of that and save all the money you'll spend on crappy school lunches

  • @Cuddlebunzzzz But it's not like you get a high standard education at universities anyways. Colleges are filled with the most corrupt and criminal-minded of employees.

  • @dutytocareforothers you may not get a high quality education, but if an employer has to choose between hiring someone with a college degree and someone with a high school diploma, who do you think they're going to choose? a degree isn't nearly as valuable as it used to be, but it's definitely still more valuable than just a diploma. unless you're fortunate enough to be business-savvy or have some other means of obtaining job skills, college may be the best option. not a great one, but the best.

  • @Cuddlebunzzzz No. You are wrong. Nepotism and cronyism seems to help people the most.

  • @dutytocareforothers that is another means of obtaining job skills, which i mentioned. not everyone has a relative or a friend to hand them a job, most of us have to actually work and compete against others to prove to employers that we deserve a position. just because you have the right connections and skills without higher education doesn't mean everyone else does.

  • @Cuddlebunzzzz How can you "actually work" if you are not ever hired or allowed to develop into a profession?? This is a circular debate that is avoiding the big picture.

  • @dutytocareforothers it's not a circular debate, you're just tossing out red herrings. we weren't even discussing what happens if you aren't hired, yet you randomly bring it up and say i'm the one making logical fallacies. if you'd went to college and/or had some sort of education after high school, you might have avoided that mistake (emphasis on "might").

you are right though, you can't work if you're not hired. but that can happen regardless if you have a degree or a diploma.

  • @Cuddlebunzzzz Are you a public relation's shill? It seems like it.

  • @dutytocareforothers now you're resorting to ad hominem. i can do that too.

your horrible debating skills are a prime example of why people SHOULD go to college. or at the very least do a Google search of logical fallacies before trying to engage in any serious discussion.

  • @Cuddlebunzzzz Silence whipper snapper.

  • @dutytocareforothers that's what adults usually do to me when i prove them wrong. they just tell me to be quiet because they're too close-minded to handle any challenges to their misguided beliefs and preconceptions. it's fine though, i'm sure i'll be the same way when i get older, which is why i'm trying to expand my horizons as much as i can now.

  • You are fat, ugly and uneducated. And unpatriotic. I'm ashamed to even be stumbling upon this video.

  • @SeventhSun Professors and deans are just as responsible for the poor job market and the economic collapse. They need to be protested against immediately. Students need to rise up and demand lower tuition prices and fair treatment instead of being cowards.

  • um, then what do you recommend I do instead? Jesus, this is so fucking stupid....

  • There are certifications and degrees offered by trade schools and community colleges that can land you a job eventually making much more money than a college grad.

  • Good thing I'm entering the science field.

  • @LogicStance Thank you, i've seen too many people get visual arts, or "Animal Studies" degrees, and bitch/moan about the "Job Market" Your fucking degree isn't marketable, and you're a doucher for choosing this major, it REALLY says a lot about what type of person you are. How many people without degrees have 6 figure salaries working for a place they didn't have to take out a huge loan to start? Not very many. Good luck to you, but you won't need it.

  • Interesting.

  • @DonZabu

Actually, it wasn't. I was just testing to see if this guy had "Comment pending approval" mode on.

Anyway, I certainly don't think that college is some kind of all-important messiah for getting a fruitful career, or even a better source of knowledge than, say, the library, but I don't think this sort of wild condemnation of the institute is helping matters either.

  • dat fukin parot lmao

  • Getting a good job after college is for most of us the main reason, but not the only one. Getting a wider aspect, expanding your vocabulary, increasing your tolerance is just few of the many reasons.

  • Yeah, I'm an autodidact. I think if people were more creative or imaginative, they wouldn't need to be dependent on college education. If you want to know something, you can find it out. I was sick one time and I Googled the symptoms to find out what it was and when I went to the hospital, I knew more than the doctor. Five minutes of research vs twelve years. It's that easy.

  • What do you recommend if you all ready have college loans that need to be paid off that you can't afford and still haven't found a job with your major? Should I attempt to start my own business? Or file for income based repayment plan? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks and great video!

  • I am seriously thinking of leaving my college and entering a trade school.

  • @JudgingJulius9000 thanks a lot!

  • @DontGoToCollege Are you a mormon??

  • @DontGoToCollege

Would you agree self education is the best choice? All the stuff you learn in college(general studies) you can learn on your own by reading books. Why not just purchase the books and teach yourself?

What real skills are you learning in school anyway?Nothing.Just wasting time.

  • This channel is so stupid, what if you get a SHCOLARSHIP. Retard ass motherfuckers, you provide for your country, they'll provide for YOU.

  • and look were u r now

  • You can get a good job with no college degree? You can have a good career without college? Are you fucking stupid? Clearly you are. You can have a good job cleaning bathrooms and working on a assembly line for minimum wage. You will bust your ass your whole life without a college degree of some sort. Thirty seconds of your video and I already want to puke. No thanks.

  • @hoeck2008 The government schools have taught you well...

  • @DontGoToCollege LOL government school??? You have lost your mind. I go to a private school. You know nothing. Stop trying to corrupt people with your lies. Go to college because otherwise you will live paycheck to paycheck below the poverty level. Give me a break you fool. LIES LIES LIES!!!

  • @hoeck2008 they still got to you though...

  • @DontGoToCollege Really? Tell me how. Show me the proof. Real physical evidence is what I want and not just your opinion. You see you have lost the last ounce of respect and credibility with me. You can stop spreading your disease now.

  • @hoeck2008 College or not, you're a bit of an irrational person and probably will go further by simply being a bit cooler and nicer.

Basically, I'm calling you an asshole.

  • @HFLanciaStratos I don't care if you think I am the antichrist. I am sure as hell not going to walk on eggshells for you or anyone else. You call me irrational for having an opinion? That was lame. Please try harder next time to have a smart and logical response. I stand by what I said. The only thing you are is a con artist. You spread lies and nobody should ever listen to you.

  • @hoeck2008

    Define: paradox

    "I'm not irrational"

"The only thing you are is a con artist. You spread lies and nobody should ever listen to you."

  • @HFLanciaStratos This isn't English or spelling class, so look it up yourself if your interested. I have better things to do with my time then to define words for you.

  • @hoeck2008 I go to a private school too and I see GRADUATES from my school working as CASHIERS!

  • @DontGoToCollege Yes the government, schools, are paying us more then minimum wage. Next time pick a better major and a career in demand before you pump 100 grand in student loans you hick. Schools are not meant for the conspiracy theorists who harbor irrational acts of a hierarchy trying to control them. Read a BOOK, maybe go to school, did you graduate? - haha. Have fun on the bottom, because I will happily kiss ass for 120 grand a year, not slaving 15 thousand at Macdonald's before taxes.

  • @DontGoToCollege What is your solution? Pointing out the problem isn't going to solve issue without real suggestion. Why did you sliced your videos into short 2-3 minutes clips when you could in fact do a longer videos to address this? I am guessing to get more views, but hey that's just me.

  • @vcdna1 The videos are 2-3 minutes because that is the length that most people prefer. I agree, I do need to talk more about solutions. The reason I point out problems is because I don't want people to automatically go to college without realizing how bad student loans will affect them. I wish someone would have told me how bad they are before I got them. I never imagined that these videos'd get so many views. I never imagined part of my video would be played on NBC Nightly News last week.

  • @DontGoToCollege Fair enough, I do share some of your concern as well, and I do think you make some valid points, however I am deeply troubled by the many videos telling kids not to go to college without explaining why or what their options are. I personally think college is an investment, and like such much thought should given before making a decision.

  • @DontGoToCollege Its unfortunate that you got screwed over by loans and yes you should teach others financial responsibility when it comes to borrowing any sort of money. However, that doesn't mean you should tell people "Don't go to college". That is stupid and moronic . Where do doctors and lawyers come from? Regardless of what your education was like, mine has taught me many things that have not only made me better for my future job but also a better individual - and yes I'm taking loans!

  • @sandsurfngbomber Doctors come from the field of medicine. Lawyers come from the study of law. I clearly state in this video "except for a few career choices such as medicine, law, and science". I am a member of three academic honor societies. I majored in engineering. I think most majors are overpriced. There are better, more efficient ways to gain knowledge. College was created at a time when books were expensive and knowledge was hard to obtain. There's no logical reason to pay so much now.

  • @DontGoToCollege I think $100 a semester should cover it.

  • @sandsurfngbomber Shut your face. He has every right to tell people to avoid college. I am not in debt but I suffered through not only tediously boring courses but I had to face discrimination from "highly educated" bastards who call themselves "professors". Even worse than rude and unfair professors is the lack of value my master's degree has. The employers are hostile goblins who do not care one bit about my master's degree. Now, go away.

  • @vcdna1

Ask a 23 yearold with 5 years of work experience that makes 55k a year NON UNION job ANYTHING!

  • @hoeck2008 I thought work ethic gets you a good career. I went to college knowing after graduating I still have to pay my dues. Then again, I'm with the POV of getting scholarships and grants. Also worked while in school and during my summer breaks. Nothing in life is handed to you easily. It doesn't matter if you went to college or not.

  • @jteruel671 Shut your face right now. Your disinformation is completely insensitive to others who were shafted by universities. Little snobs with a big egos like yourself are never appreciated in the real world.

  • @dutytocareforothers We all know the system of education is broken as we know it. I don't come from a rich family either. I am a recent grad, and yeah it sucks to be in the real world especially if your a young person. I will say it again: NOTHING in life is handed to you easily. I may seem insensitive but right now us young people need to understand it's part the hard knocks of life. A degree doesn't entitle you to a job, a line which College professors never mention.

  • @jteruel671 I think you suck and need to go away. Professors are not entitled to our money and time.

  • @dutytocareforothers The real winners are the private lenders in the current college system. As long as Sallie Mae and other loan sharks are around they'll be screwing everyone in the system and schools will be forced to jack up tuition. Most of the revenue schools get goes to new facilities because more people go to college. Basic economics in play. More demand=higher price. Why are you hating on the professors? Most of them I know are not making that much as you think.

  • @jteruel671 Read my profile; you will find out more. I have entire lecture series waiting for amazing people like you.

  • @hoeck2008 You've been brain washed. I agree. All the students in my college getting a liberal arts degree, I'm just like "wtf are you doing here? You're wasting your time..." The only people I respect in college are a) those who know exactly why they are at the college they are at and their plan b) engineers c) those pursuing degrees that require grad school

  • @quitejaded Maybe they like fine art or graphic design: think outside the box and empathize with others. You sound like a scornful little snob with a tiny brain. You have lost all respect. Anyone who wants to educate themselves with knowledge and skills is a great person; however, it is the colleges and the professors who are utilizing incredible undue influence and dirty tricks to fool students.

  • College is boring to me.

  • Are you a mormon?

  • I went to a tech school for graphic design. Would I have done it again? Absolutely. I met many valuable connections whom I'd never have run into prior. The argument that most people need to go to college is completely valid, vocation considered. In the end though, darwinism will rule in the workplace. Making yourself more appealing to an employer is essential, and if it's down to you and one other person, the person with the degree is more likely to get hired.

  • I'm just gonna go to college, learn what I need, drop out, start a engineering company, and if the stock market doesnt kill me, ill be so successful that ill be pissing on this guys face.

  • i was confused when he said that one of the exceptions included practicing law. From what ive heard, law school is especially a rip-off.

  • is he serious lol?

  • If you all don't want to go to college, you should join the military. You get get the job training you need equivalent to a college graduate with an associates degree but you have to score high on the ASVAB if you want that kind of opportunity in the military. Also, the government gives money for education instead of the government mooching our own money

  • @Chaicoffski, agreed. Half of our Ph.d holders who are reside here are foreign. Sooner or later, those foreigners from Asian and Eastern European countries will get better offers from countries such as China or India which are bumping up their technology and medical fields. And when that happens, America will be fuck, because we have enter a Digital Age which technology is ruling everthing, and when we have low number of engineers or sciencist, our economy will be at a disadvantage.

  • Good video. He does, however, mention the pursuit of a law career as a an exception, a reason why you would need to go to college, but I hope that viewers don't get the wrong idea that going to law school is a good idea either because it's not!

  • learn so many stuff in College but guaranteed u, only 6% of those will be used..

  • While I go around attacking most videos against going to college. This video's exception of science, medicine, and law makes the video more persuasive.

  • Some off the stupidest people i have met are the one that went to college they been so brainwashed by Uncle Sam they think everything they were taught is true.

  • This guy is full of shit. A degree is a better way to make a living. Get your degree in something besides liberal art anal sex and you'll do ok. cooperation want decision makers and innovators But at the end of the day it all boils down to who you network with

  • Our society has been brainwashed into thinking education is good? THE HORROR!!!

  • @FatStarvingActor Not education, CREDENTIALS, there is a big difference.

  • I'm European and I want to work as a scientist in the USA. Are scientists in short supply???

  • @Outsiderkaa Don't leave Europe! You'll only find a bunch of spoiled brats here in the US.

  • I agree, my college experience would be so much better without these stupid English, Psychology, Dance, Liberal Arts, etc people always crowding the food court.

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck that, college is awesome.

  • it really doesnt matter even if you get a science/ math major either. Every business is cuttting back. Thinking about becoming a nurse because they say there are plenty of jobs? I doubt it. nurses are being laid off too. Nurses who were planning on retiring chose to stay working because of the economy. They are running hospitals with less staff and everyone is going to nursing school. computer science grads are working as waiters. so its not really fair to single out Liberal arts grads

  • Trading one scam for another. Nice business plan!

ps- I don't think college, in general, is a scam. Bettering yourself has few cons.

  • @simplemusician You are a fool.

  • @dutytocareforothers Constructive. Fool of a Took, perhaps.

  • @simplemusician Yes, tool. That's for sure.

  • @dutytocareforothers You're right, Tool is a great band! Seriously though, stop proving your idiocy. Though, looking at your other comments it's apparent you troll for a living. Which obviously requires no education- or cognitive capabilities for that matter. Find another bridge.

  • @simplemusician Silence, you enfeebled whipper snapper.

  • "Medicine, or law, or science..."

Well, what about those of us who want to teach? I'm going to teach deaf kids one day, and you're damn right I'm going to put a lot of money into it. I want the whole experience. The parties, the friends, the late night study sessions, the hunger I have for knowledge satiated. College is a great experience and there is nothing wrong with going, just as there isn't anything wrong with not going. It isn't meant for some, but it's definitely not a bad thing.

  • This guy should have gone to college for a video production degree or a speaking degree. He also could have gone to college for a social science degree so he could do a real study that demonstrates why individuals with college degrees consistently earn more no matter the degree they study.

  • @ultimate175gm You are a college shill; a shill is someone paid to make untrue but nice comments about the business they secretly work for.

  • I love how americans call it college, in canada we call it university

  • @Zac6230 google "college vs university." They are identifiable for several reasons

  • if we dont have a degree how the fuck are we gonna get a job???? answer that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @likeashitremixit: College doesn't guarantee you a job.

  • @jenningsslayer314 It's support for a better future though, and you get more out of it.

  • @ThePaijeFuller: The way you say it, it is as if college is the only way to get a job, which isn't the case.

  • @jenningsslayer314 That's why I said it's SUPPORT..

  • @likeashitremixit go out to the world and try some new experience for yourself or apply for low level jobs and advance from there. not all jobs required a degree and not all degree would get you a job. besides you'll probably going to start at a low level job anyways whether you had a degree or not, it all depends on experience. the more experience you had on a particular job, the better earning you're gonna get.

  • Just because one has a degree, even in a lucrative field, is no guarantee of success. I found out the hard way that education and hardwork mean nothing. The only thing that matters is being born into a white collar/professional family with the built in advantages of connections that are made early in life and the general business "grooming" that comes naturally from such exposure. Those who argue otherwise are either very naive or flagrant liars.

  • The problem isnt that college is a bad thing... its not at all. Most people dont have a vision for what they want to do with their life. So going to college with no vision or passion for the field will definitely lead to some failure.

Yeah college doesnt fully teach you to be financially educated but the idea you cant learn in college is stupid as hell! Also you can acquire skills while there too so this dude is taking small amount of truth and throwing sweeping indictments

  • @ValiantATHLETE so true. it's sad becuase most ppl that are in college now don't actually belong there.

  • College (universities) need to be revamped. Get rid of useless courses, ie., literature, liberal arts, etc.

Get back to nuts and bolts learning with courses that lead somewhere after the student graduates. Not fluffy, useless courses which are really hobbies for the student.

Of course, this won't happen. Colleges make millions upon millions off kids who are wasting their time on dead-end studies. It's all about the money ....

  • i think going to school all together is a waste of time. becaues k -12 your stuck in a room agents your will trying to learn stuff that your never going to use in life and wheres the adventure half of your life is taken away. In a lot of ways its better to grow up dumb and use street smarts and cunning now thats the adventure of life

  • College is a big waste time and money.

I started a lawn mowing business at the age of 16, and now i make around 80,000 dollars a year with no degree.

My friend dropped out of high school at the age of 16. He recently started a junk removal business and now he makes over 100,000 dollars a year.

  • Before you go off on people consider the fact of how much debt people get into! An at the end they dont even have a job so its basically fucking suicide!

  • But guys, if you don't go to college you won't be wealthy like Richard Branson and Bill Gates!!

    Oh... err... whoops.

  • @HFLanciaStratos Bill Gates went to Harvard but dropped out. Still he used the connections he made there to start his software empire. Just saying.

  • Lol okay don't go to college. Enjoy making a mediocre salary and being proud of being an uneducated fuck-tard. Glad to see America getting dumber.
