  • Nobody seems to have solved the mystery of who the vocalist is...no it's not Grace Jones or Lene Lovich. I think for this album Cerrone employed three vocalists, one black, the other two white. You can see them singing on a video for Give Me Love (off the same album). I'd like to know their names, though...does anyone have the original release, and does it actually credit the singers?

  • Go back in time July 12, 1979 to stop Steve Dahl for the "Disco Demolition" he caused!

  • I'm so glad I lived during the Disco Fever Era in the 70s!

I still love to hear Cerrone, Love and Kisses, Donna Summer, Madeline Kane, The Bee Gees, Gloria Gaynor, The Trammps, Barry White and the Unlimited Orchestra, and many great Disco singers during my time!

i wish there was a time machine!

  • @SuperTornado2212

I was only born towards the end of the 70s but I have a real affinity for this period even so! If you ever get that time machine sorted I'll happily come along for a night out! :-)

Wish I had been the age I am now but living then, must have been very cool times!

  • This is one of those tracks to re-discover years later through remixes or mash-ups. I was far too young to explore the disco scene then..

  • There are strange forces at work here....pretty out there....Its like watching greek mythology unfold.....

  • Usually the House/Club/Dance venues that I frequent are FREE of the Violent Culture that Befits much of "other music" Types, that's All there is to say on that subject Sir/Madame."THIS IS" what a TRUE CLASSICs' Made of. MAESTRO of LOVE Mr. BARRY WHITE,once said just before he became "Eternal/Infinitely reborn w/the Source of All that is", that the so-called "music" now will never be of the same Classic=Quality.Yesteryear,1950s,1960s,1970s,1980s & even much of the 1990s. fin

  • LOVE THIS SONG SOO MUCH!!!

  • Heard this song on The Kenny Everett Video Show in the early 80's. With the dance group Hot Gossip dancing to it!

  • LSD FTW !!

  • excuse moi glandu ... je connais cerrone sinon mieux que toi j'ai 8 albums de lui dont le 3 , je voulais dire remasterisé en CD .. pas la peine d'insulter ... c'est idiot ...

  • lyrics well beyond its time well!!done cerronne!!!

  • Cerrone = Air's daddy.

  • This is such a classic track ;o) As a kid, I always used to think this was grace jones ;o)

  • OHHH it looks like i am a big fan of Cerrone and that little boy with big hair :P

  • Incredible Video

  • It's important to mention that some of the best disco albums came either out of Italy or France. Cerrone, Boney M. Abba are just three examples. Voyage, also a European ensemble is widely considered to have recorded the best disco single, Souvenirs.

  • @msalimon

    You are having a laugh!!!

FRANCE has been incredibly weak with regard to the creation of good disco music - it is the weakest nation MUSICALLY of the Big 4 ie UK (ruler of the largest ever empire) , Germany (the most powerful European nation), Italy (historically, the best ever European nation) and France (fastest declining world language).

  • @aworkingwebsite

Je parle Francais - un peu - et vous?

I think given your INCORRECT AGGRESSIVE & PARTISAN INVECTIVE toward me that your website deserves a few mentions on Google - please keep your eyes peeled for a jolly 'riposte' - that's a French word BTW!!

    Adieu, mon amis.

  • @aworkingwebsite

FYI Fox News is NOT broadcast to each & every home in the UK & thus your comment is defunct.
