  • Great video! Really nice to watch how you progress over the months...and how much Shane is growing! I liked the signal you use to redirect Shane further back on the leg..really helpful!

  • My dalmatian is 9 months old, do u think i could still train her like this?

  • Hey,

    This is really great!

My dal has just turned 1 year old do you think I could train him like this?

Also, will this help when he is pulling whilst on his lead? :)

  • @PaperHearted

Thanks! this type of heeling is only for obedience tests/competitions, not what you would have a dog do while out on a casual walk.

  • Thank you very much for your answer! It takes long time?

  • Nice, unfortunatly not everyone can use free roam training on their dogs and require e-collars, prong, slips.

  • -on my aunt's youtube account forgot my pass!- Great video, I'll start using this as an example of why you don't need a prong collar to teach a dog to heel, working dog people = Simple sometimes :)

  • Sorry I meant the first song. The last song is FOL. :) Good jam.

  • Its Once In A While, its an Adore era song

  • @shatteringglass Do you think I can train my 2 years old dalmatian like this????

  • @1eLIF

you sure can! I started training my first Dal (whom I got when she was 6 years old & she didnt even know "sit" or "down" and by 8 years old she had 2 obedience titles with many placements including firsts & seconds. With an older, larger dog, you just need to keep the food in your hand up higher.

  • @shatteringglass Thank youi very much for your answer! It takes long time??

  • What's the name of this song and where does it come from? I have a huge collection of Pumpkins material and you continue to amaze me with the rarities you have that I've never heard of.

  • are dalmatians difficult to train, i was considering purchasing one as my first dog

  • no, they are not difficult, they are smart, energetic, and willing to please. If you are very interested in getting a Dal, I highly reccomend you contact the nearest Dalmatian club in your area and talk breeders. Please dont go to a pet store or backyard breeder! I wil be glad to direct you to the breed club nearest you!

  • I just realized youtube took out the 2nd song in the video haha

  • Once In a While for you...

  • Omg, first view, rate and comment =D *happy*

5/5 , you're both so cute together. Maybe I'll put a video of me and my dog =)
