I remember I used to hate Taylor for how immaturely she handled the break-up. I've grown to like and respect her again, but still. Joe wasn't being a dick. @heytherewhatwhat While it was a "Dick Move" as @courtneymahoneswifty put it, to breakup with someone over the phone. The classy move is to not to talk discuss it on interviews/ the public. It is very likely that he did try to comunicate with her since then. It's not about beging/clinging on. She was just hurt and didnt want to hear what he had to say. If this blog post is real then it was the more respectful way to handle the situation

I think that it sucks how a celebrity can complain about having reporters constantly butting into their love life, but then they reveal things about their love life to everyone. If you want to keep your love life personal, don't do what these two did.

@bribriduh1 not taking anyones side here, but it's not like she was the only one "harassing" him. he broke up with her over the phone, which is totally unacceptable for every person in a relationship, and she spoke her mind about it. He decided to "fight back", and I'm pretty sure that Taylor wasn't going to let him. I think they both needed to just get over it after a while, because they both just made each other look really stupid.
