I found a interesting post that pointed out that the scapula naturally moves with the shoulder joint. It claimed that when the scapula is totally locked back at the bottom of the movement in order to do a dead hang with the full ROM the shoulder joint bears undue stress. However, I was under the impression that pulling the scapula down and keeping it there to lock the shoulder joint was correct for the entire movement. here is the post. RKCers please respond
