unfortunately the Catholics in their Bible have a book called the "Macabees" (which were esentially rebels), in this book it talks all about pergatory....the things about that is this: if there was such a place as pergatory, it would completely remove the validity of Jesus having to come onto this earth to die for the sins of mankind....the Catholic books of the Bible do not coinscide with the rest of the books of the Bible. Praying for God to remove the veil...

Do you not understand that the Lamb in the Old Testament that was slain for the nation of Israel was a picture so to speak of the Messiah being the true Lamb slain for the sins of the world just as the New Testament points out. As the scripture in the old testament pointed to the future one day of a Redeemer and it points to the Lord Jesus and He fits all the types and shadows of the Old Testament. Just as he said to the Jews, book of John.. When he said to them that He Was the Messiah.
