Natal is a cool idea if it were to work as they claim.They have just went far out with their claims of it scanning objects,etc..They are simply trying to compete with PS3's Move but with several lies & rehearsed demonstrations at E3 2010.There are many things that could cause interference such as other people talking,movement in background,lighting changes,etc..The PS3 move is alot more practical as it still has a controller with buttons,sensors,blutooth,and also it uses a camera as well!!

Personally I think 2015 at the earliest and 2030 at the latest is when global civilization will collapse, most likely due to phytoplankton population collapse as a result of the ocean conveyor belt being shut down + various other stress factors. This would collapse the entire ocean ecosystem, greatly alter the weather, and severely threaten the continuation of terrestrial life. Apocalypse could happen in 2012 too if we really screw things up... so far we’re doing exactly that.

Actually, Natal has many problems and Microsoft better fix them before it's available. Think about it : for those who like video games a lot, playing a fighting game for 2 hours will be impossible because you will get exauhsted. Playing a skate game will suck because there's no way the xbox will see the difference between the foot movement of a inward heelflip and a laser flip or whatever. Whenever you listen to a movie you can't say certain things because it'll stop. And there are many others.

The wii is about moving some thing in ur hand or at the most go on some panel and move a little. In Natal, imagine ur playing a fighting game and you have to kick some guys face, try to do that in real life lol.

what about the fact that it can recognize emotion and it is connected to an online network. what would happen if you were playing by yourself and suddenly had a heart attack (or anything else) would natal connect and call for help .. if it does then we have no privacy ,, and if it doesn't then who is liable (since it clearly has the ability to do something about it)... i think this is a far more complex problem than getting tired from playing too much

@rybhugo to pause a movie you have to say xbox pause so talking will not be a problem, as for a skating game there maybe special ways to pull off tricks hell they might even release some mat with trick buttons on them, of course you will still however need to skate jump and turn using your body.
