I'm actually a big fan of tool but nothing jones has ever done can even compare to the complexity of anything Dime has ever written. Tool's music is more of repeating riffs while changing the timing. They do that very well and have a style no one can even come close to replicating. But that being said the reason Dime is better than him is that i guarantee you Dime could play everything jones has ever wrote. And there is no way in hell Jones could play what Dime did. Ever.
