The Clash were killing it during this period. Their creative and sonic output was amazing. They were really the best, at least live, damn band in the world. This is not only one of their finest moments but rock's.

Yep. If you listen to their boots, in the autumn of '77 they were unstoppable. On fire. Seeing them live then was like getting massively high. It was that great.

They had sped everything up a good 20% - 30% for the European tour.

White Riot at this show clocks in at 1m36s. That's 20% faster than the single.
