@XD1058 F smash on wiimote + nunchuck is press left or right (which ever way your facing) and pressing A at the same time.

If your talking about doing the bomb F smash (6:14) then you have to re set your controller to have auto smash which is like the C stick of a camecube controller.

Then just make sure u hold A when you pull a bomb and press auto smash.

Honestly this is a waste of time, you're doing this against a STANDING OPPONENT, that basically means that you can just go "HEY GUY'S JUST IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY LINK" I'd like to see you pull all of these moves off in an actual battle, which i doubt you can because with the ammount of pressure and focus needed in an intense fight there is no time to screw around and try out "Advance techniques" You'll screw them up and leave your self wide open (90% of these don't work)

@Mizurachi FYI these techniques are mean for actual battles. I use edgeguarding, DAC, and QDA all the time. Advanced techniques are meant for opponents that would normally be faster than you.

@zubudubudu Directional Influence is what it stands for. It helps re-determine what angle you get knocked back after being hit. With this you can rapidly tap a direction to get out of a rapid jab quickly for example. The reason the Down DI + Z edge grab works in the video, is the move he showed naturally knocks the enemy about 7 degrees out. Using Down DI will reduce it to 0since you hit the floor of the stage, thus allowing Link to be in perfect position to hookshot the edge.

@izzypar800 It takes a lot of practice. It works well to practice with snake or sheik because theirs is the longest. It's also called DACUS, if you want to look it up or something. You just dash attack and quickly do an up-smash.

Cept Link's is easier, The very second you dash in either direction, you press C+down to activate your dash attack, however, you press Z+up right b4 performing the actual dash attack. So you obtain the momentum of his original dash attack, but you instead use an up smash. It's very simple, and best with a gamecube controller.

I like how my CPU can easily shield or DI out of most of these things, but can be easily hit with the obvious things. Doesn't matter, these tricks actually made me a faster player in Brawl. :)

@LunarD3mon6 Most of these are dodgeable when attempted to hit a CPU, cause when we fight them, we are predictable. On the other hand, when you fight a real player, you can mind game a lot of people with these moves. Check out some of Izaw's videos; you'll see what I mean. =)

@razorkid95 yeah, the more u fight them, they start to learn to block or counter the attacks u use, my cpu can block a dacus, but can't block the hookshot b/c it isn't supposed to be used for an attack. and they have some sort of experince system where they can kind of copy your playing style when u fight against them with the same character. they can't learn these advanced things in da vid, but they can learn to like fastfall n stuff, or use the different 3 hit combos. they wont often though.

yah i can just try on shake smash. then in order to do it..take out links bombs and hold a before he throws it. then shake the remote and he should do it give it a try. =) i learned how to do from video. he tells u how to do it and he uses wiimote and nunchuk too. i can send it to u.=)

I kinda thought that with wavedash and L-cancel taken out, people wouldn't be able to come up with ways to "trick" the game into giving you oddball advantages and would have to rely on pure skill. @animenut08 You have to start dashing, and first press downwards on the yellow C stick. This would normally start Link's dash attack. However, if you do an up smash attack at the right time using the z button instead of A, he will slide forward as if he were dash attacking but do an up smash attack instead.
