@NascarNixon I agree, but that is part of why NASCAR implemented the COT. The idea that if everyone uses the same car, it will be all driver skill and as even as possible.
But I agree the competition was great. I remember seeing them in person at Chicagoland and watching Ryan Newman going on to the apron to make it 4-wide in the trioval. One of the greatest races I've ever been too.
Okay. You seriously rule for putting this up.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. NASCAR needs to be more like IROC. The competition was insane.

@NascarNixon People complain that NASCAR is "too much" like IROC. With the new COT body style comingout next year, each isn't going to be the same.

And with this, I believe Speedweeks 2001 is complete, from the 24 hours to the 500. You are the man!

@dot350 My bad. I really didn't realize it wasn't out there until someone commented on my channel about it.

At 22:22 it says Waltrip wins 500? Was this televised after the 2001 Daytona 500? Obviously, because otherwise Earnhardt couldn't be in it...?
malaven11 1 month ago
@malaven11 It aired sunday night on ESPN but before the announcement of Dale's death.
