Let's say that evolution is true.
Let's say that over millions of years, the fish decided it needed lungs because it somehow knew that land was better.
So let's say the fish managed to alter its own genetic structure and slowly evolved lungs.
Let's say that it managed to somehow figure out that its newly evolved lungs were meant for air not water.
Let's say that the fish made it to land before it drowned from lack of air.

IF you "believe" in a god, that means you are delusional, Nothing I say to you will undo the brainwashing that has happen to you. Evolution is a gradual change, not just a fish jumping out of water with legs.
Secoundly for the species to exist that are able to walk on land some what, there must also be a female that can do the same, so they can in fact mate out of water.
They also say that genetics cannot be passed on, just wow.
Enough with the lies in these videos.

cause it doesnt need to -.- otherwise we wouldnt see ANY marine life, we wouldnt have jellyfish for they were some of the very first animals.
the reason why the mud skipper is still around is because it survives and reproduces just fine, the mud skippers born with slight diversities that helped it survive even more, those developed lungs and eventually became the early amphibians. go read a book about evolution before starting a debate

Why would it matter if it needed to? Isn't the whole point about genetic mutation? Are you saying that the fish was simply able to "turn off" its climb up the evolutionary ladder? You almost make it sound like someone designed the fish to be that way.

well look at the shark for instance. the most common shark was on the earth for millions of years because it is so well adapted to its environment. of course it still reproduces like normally and still has the same rate of random genetic mutation. but because the first specie doesnt die off, all u see is new species arising.

@Kodiaksaint what drives speciation is some evolutionary pressure to pursue a new niche, and members of the species being separated in some way. usually geographically.
Sharks continue to evolve, there is no pressure for them to alter their form though,
some fish evolve lungs, their niche may be in shallows where tiny differences between members makes a big difference to their ability to reproduce., evolution is the general trend for reproduction of successful variations.

Plants evolved in the Ordovician, and algae evolved long before then. Why oxygen is a probelm for amphibian evolution I have no idea. How is food a problem for amphibian evolution? Arthropods were on land before vertebrates, and it's not that hard to go back into the ocean to eat either.
No mechanism for evolving new genetic information? Every single mutation is new genetic information. Unless you can find an organ that isn't coded for by DNA then mutation is still a valid mechanism.

How hard is it for people to just open a simple natural history book? If they did they would know that fish did not just jump out of the water and happen to breathe air, they evolved air breathing over millions of years while wading through the shallows of Devonian swamps. The selection pressure would have been things like wading further inland, or being able to stay further inland as the tide comes in and out.
