They have big houses, nice cars,good health benefits, they get loads of vacation time, and are probably more comfortably financially than most of you. So you think oil field workers are losers? I live in Anchorage. I know many people who work in Prudhoe Bay. They make A LOT more money than I do, and I have a college degree. They have big houses, nice cars,good health benefits, they get loads of vacation time, and are probably more comfortably financially than most of you. From the lowest positions on up, there is STILL major money working on the North Slope. "Losers?" I don't think so.
