I love you. I was messing with LimeRa1n for no apparent reason, (My itouch 4g was already jailbroken) and clicked make it ra1n, forgetting I had my ipod charging (therefore, plugged in). Due to shock, I unplugged my iPod, and it was caught in recovery mode. This had happened before, but I was able to fix it by holding home and power for 10 seconds. This didn't work this time. I was really close to restoring it to iOS 4.3.1, but then I realized I'd be unable to rejailbreak yet. Thank you so much.

This does not work for 4.2.1 Tinyumbrella can't kick the iphone out of recovery if it is on 4.2.1!!! HELP!!!!!!!

didn't work for me. Had jailbroken 4.1 then updated to 4.2.1. then error. then used this and nothing.

@ayocyrus Another thing you could do: If iTunes shows your ipod under restore, you can hold the both buttons 10 seconds, then leave the buttons, then your ipod shuld diplay "connect to itunes!" , and then retry it

@Msvoc By itunes showing my iphone under restore you mean when it says, "you must restore your iphone before it can be used with itunes?" My iphone does say connect to itunes but tinyumbrella isn't helping.
