  • There will always be people saying "it sucks" without having any actual knowledge, or understanding, in what's going on, always.

  • when people can't make money selling their jujitsu, they call it ninjutsu

  • really really good!

  • I would so love to learn ninjitsu I love all martial arts

  • @DratikASinceel agreed

  • this is more realistic it always deals with a second punch which is usually what happens the guy swings and swings tring to hit you

  • This is really cool, I like his footwork, is he stepping on his foot??? I would personally love to train and spar with these people, I think I could learn alot from them. I have done Karate, some muaythai, but my main system is BJJ. I think alot of these takedowns and locks are from the same roots as some of my Jujitsu techniques. I feel like I coulden't use any of this in my MMA because it's against the rules, but hey, if I add finger/wrist locks to my BJJ... Dirty techniques + BJJ=awesome lol

  • @GuamKomudo Stepping on your opposant feet is often used in sparring and trainning. It is really annoying when you find your foot stuck. It allows him to enter your defense and prevent you from stepping back.

  • why everyone argues about lineage and denshos ? its ninjutsu . it functions.

are you german or what? need a signed paper for taking a shit. get a life idiots.

the video is actually cool. a bit over cooperativ but good. if you guys ever come to hamburg -germany com by.

  • @ninjutsuHH

"why everyone argues about lineage and denshos ? its ninjutsu . it functions."

because without any evidence, you still have to prove that it IS ninjutsu. and it functioning does not mean it IS whatever you want it to be.

"are you german or what? need a signed paper for taking a shit. get a life idiots."

nah, you need a piece of paper to prove that your school wasn't made up by takamatsu AFTER he was busted using the same (taijutsu) skills and calling it kukishin ryu ninpo.

  • I know the man of yellow, my old teacher teach me sometingh about him, i miss that days (Y)

  • léa voie, le tout ne fait qu'un

  • lol poor guy

  • nice!

  • Concerning creationofmyown claim like what, in the bugei ryuha daijiten, takamatsu would have said at some point that it was made out of child game, first I wouldn't have liked to be one of his friends back then, must of hurt, second of all, he forgets to claim that in the edition of the bugei ryuha daijiten that follows, the writer draws back from what he said. But once someone like that finds something that supports his idea, he wont look any further.

  • @Nordrian I agree with you and wanted to add: Togakure ryu is proven to be dated "pre-takamatsu" by documents and denshos. Takamtasu has also said that he learned togakure at an early age. With this is mind it is highly possible that he said that he learned it through child's play - a way of teaching that i familiar within the oral tradition of the ryu when it comes to teaching people at a young age. A misquote can be the reason for the drawback of the claim in next edition of BRD.

  • @sirseigan

" Togakure ryu is proven to be dated "pre-takamatsu" by documents and denshos."

    NONSENSE.

i can quote kacem saying that all of it is in takamatsu's handwriting... except for a bit from ishitane. so nothing to do with ninjutsu...

you are lying. prove your claims, provide a source i can see the scrolls. hatsumi won't share em... so you have to do better.

" Takamtasu has also said that he learned togakure at an early age."

AFTER kuki wouldn't let him say they taught him ninjutsu.

  • @Arteanor Arteanor yur everywhere wow, what are yu trying to prove? that yu can send out alot of comments to ppl & say that yu know this & that about the Shinobi & every aspect about it? all yur claims started on youtube & escaladed on to other sites, & now yur nerding out the web of youtube? really yur a bit of a sketch, hell yu don't even have yur own videos & posts, yur just a viewer, & yu still show no proof of yur knowlege besides web pages, yur claims are intresting but this is rediclious.

  • @Hekigyoku1 Exactly what he is trying to say. They claim Bujinkan arguments to be wrong, and come with some arguments that are also based on faith. Except, we got an efficient martial art (all that matters IMO) that proves that at least, this is a versatile martial art, that takes in consideration yoroi fighting, sword fighting, as well as the use of many old weapons, and a complex system of combat. I choose to believe those I respect.

  • @Nordrian

but you are making this about how good you think it is... that is NOT what is being discussed...

of course it should be good, takamatsu MADE IT!! out of the best things he could learn from every martial art he knew, and all of the research he had done in the kuki archives...

if he hadn't found something that convinced him it was ninjutsu in kuki then it is from wholecloth...

but kuki wouldn't let him say he learned kukihsin ryu ninpo, and so he had to make up his own style...

  • @Nordrian thank you sir, for letting me know, your part in many.

  • @Nordrian

"he forgets to claim that in the edition of the bugei ryuha daijiten that follows, the writer draws back from what he said"

you forgot to mention that the ONLY person who controlled what was available between editions WAS TAKAMATSU!!!

the changes are due to HIM CHANGING STORY!

you seem to be ignoring that he had already told hatsumi and tanemura that the taijutsu was part of kukishin ryu ninpo!!!

    ANOTHER CHANGE!!!

  • @Arteanor Still makes the argument not a real one, the other guy could very well have lied, it is not due to him changing story, but to the other guy(forgot his name) having lied, my argument is as valid as yours, none of us got proof of what we are saying :) so unless you get some REAL argument to dismiss mine, I am as right as you to claim what I claim.

  • @Nordrian

ok, so you think that the Bugei ryuha daijiten went out of its way to make up lies about takamatsu? WHEN HE AND THE AUTHOR WERE FRIENDS???

he in fact is the one who urged takamatsu to take the opportunity to but his lineage claims on paper...

if WATATANI KIYOSHE, printed LIES about takamatsu and what he was told by him, he would have been sued... but takamatsu KEPT GIVING HIM REVISIONS!!!

your argument shows you have NO CLUE what the BRD IS, or how it was written...

  • @Arteanor This is not the USA, when something happen in Japan, they don't go for a lawyer right away, mainly back then.

You have no clue either, all you say is based on assumptions, and you should also get some information on the notion of respect and honor in Japan, they don't go for a lawyer. And we know who were Takamatsu's teachers, so we know he didn't create the techniques. And the efficiency of an art is a testimony of the fact that it's genuine.

  • @Nordrian

speaking with japanese people is an assumption now??

    who have you spoken with?

and YES if someone were to PRINT LIES ABOUT YOU, you need court action to stop it... clearly you misunderstand what the BRD says, and what TAKAMATSU changed about the entry between editions....

"And the efficiency of an art is a testimony of the fact that it's genuine."

so if i kick your ass, whatever i tell you about how i learned my skills must be true? THAT is a logical fallacy if 'er there was.

  • @Arteanor Now I'm done, you assume things, based on pure assumption, and state them as facts. No point argument with people like you.

  • NIMPORTE QUOI

  • c est un travail propre

  • Just simple movements learned and you could invent the rest yourself. At least most of the time. :|

  • @Bidmartinlo Simplicity is the thing that works best. The hard part is to keep i simple and still diversify one self and not fall in to the same pattern over and over again. So the "KISS" (Keep It Simple Stupid) rule applies on martial art as well but you still need to be creative.

And all other martial arts can be invented by some by them self to... Just look at Boxing, Muy Thai or Karate for example.

  • I love the footwork. The defender always shifts to a superior angle for attack as he blocks the strikes and manipulates the joints. It's very much like our own Kali. Keep it up, sirs! This is the best Bujinkan video I've seen to date!

  • I have a doubt, which one is older? or, which one influenced on the other: Aikido and ninjutsu?

  • aikido 187X - Ninjutsu 1162 ( even before if you consider that some of the schools were born in china before coming to japan )

  • ninjutsu is not a martial art... hence it didnt influence aikido, or aiki jutsu.

and aikido is a modern creation, i believe you are referring to aikijutsu... which dates back much further...

  • Oh, thanks, I think you're right. Peace. :P

  • ....what is ninjutsu?

  • @j054uaj054ua

ninjutsu is a historical term dating back to the 1700's

it refers to the skills of espionage, camouflagesabotage, and survival.

we know this because of the evidence collected in scrolls like the bansenshukai, the ninpiden, and the shoninki, which was then further corroborated by the authentication of Fujita Seiko.

fakes teach MA tho because telling someone a martial art is ninjutsu is easier than teaching them how to listen in on a certain camp for 3 days without moving

  • .....I've seen you say before that the Bujinkan is a series of child like games, or something like this?

  • @j054uaj054ua

not quite right... please dont try to quote me unless its correctly... what i said was that we have a testimonial from takamatsu in the bugei ryuha daijiten, in which he tells watatatani kiyoshe that he made up his ninpo ryu from "ninja-gokko" ( translates roughly to play as ninja....)

seeing as the bujinkan's entire claim to ninjutsu relies o

n takamatsu's word, and he was busy telling people he made it up...

i hope that clears that up for u...

  • ninjutsu is tactical stealth martial art

  • very nice one of the best videos on youtube yet.

Reconsideralo y anda a unas clases!

  • Hatsumi*

  • is that guy matsuki on ? 0:05

  • awesome taijutsu.. looks like hes fighting against the wind..

  • Excellent taijutsu, bon timing, bref une vidéo agréable à regarder. Excellent travail

    Bernard Grégoire

  • nice :)

  • Very good.

    Fluid like water!

  • THe only good Bujinkan Video I have seen on utube...besides Soke. Great flow!

    Saludos

  • That is the nicest kabuki suit I've ever seen. The techniques, though, are absolutely horrible!!!

  • Me pareceis bastante buenos.

  • very good style and tech^^

keep up the good work my shadow brother.
