I don't trust any hair charity. Even Pantene, which is better than the others, is one I suspect of being more about company PR rather than helping cancer victims. There is an incredible glut of donated hair in existence already.

That poor girl; she looked so unhappy after her beautiful hair was lopped off. What a shame!

@athompson7 LOL - Well, she wasn't unhappy at all to do it. In fact, it was all HER idea. She DID miss her hair when it was cut, but she WANTED to do it to help out cancer patients that have NO hair. A lot of what you see in this video was her "puttin' on" and bein silly. Her hair has grown out and been cut several times since this video. It was DEFINITELY NOT a SHAME that she did this and she would be the first one to tell you that. She was the one that went online to find out how to donate :)

@athompson7 Awwww - thank you. She actually received a letter from Pantene telling her it was one of the healthiest donations they had received and that made her feel even better. And her hair is still beautiful and healthy :)

@narutoprison The reason is simple: To help cancer patients that can't afford to buy wigs. Jessica chose to donate her hair through Pantene because Pantene does not charge the cancer patients anything for their wigs. Pantene takes the hair donations and makes wigs for people that are losing their hair due to going through chemo treatments. She (Jessica) did this as an act of love for others that are hurting.

@narutoprison Go to pantene dot com, go to where it says NEWS & OFFERS, then click on BEAUTIFUL LENGTHS and a box will pop up that says HAIR DONATION REQUIREMENTS. Under that, click where it says READ ALL REQUIREMENTS and it will give you all the information you need to donate.

They even sent Jessica a letter after they received her hair - it was really neat!

Maybe this will work - I spelled out the "dots" & left off the triple "W" in the web address to see if it will post. We'll see.....

good 4u jessica, i organized an event where i did the same thing, i raised over a 1000 bucks for the canadian cancer society, along with hair for wigs.
