I miss you Peter, Newsboys came to Boise this last Nov 2012, And I really did enjoy Mike Tate, But the songs I wanted to hear were the ones that made me fall in love with the Newsboys in the first Place, He Reigns, Shine, The Breakfast song, etc... You sing so many Really good songs, It not fair to retire them, from live play, Unless you come thru boise in another tour You have to continue to sing these songs, I wanna sing them with you when you do LIVE at least ONCE in my lifetime !!!!
I knew Peter back in the 80's when they were at Mooloolaba in Australia. My band Prime Suspect used to jam with the Newsboys some times. Peter was always so nice and I wish him all the best for the future as I am only just hearing the news he will no longer be the singer. Sorry I am a bit behind the times. If you see this Pete, do you remember the song, Big Mac Quarter Pounder French Fries. Take care.

Peter is one man that I would love to meet. I'm not one for celebrity status. Maybe it is like having a false idol or something, but Peter has touched my heart. When I got to see him, it was more when he spoke than just his music that got to me. He is "something beautiful"...When I look at him, I see God. His faith and his words amaze me.
Peter did make it... Im going to winter jam and newsboys r gonna be there but to be honest i like peter much better. The crowd gets more excited with peter than michael... not saying michael isnt good. Peter was the life of the band...course the lead singer is. The band is great too....
