No, you cannot. In RM1 Kanonno is an unplayable character, there's no way to play as her unless you use a cheat device.

Wanna know a good way to win almost every fight?

Get 2 Priest and 1 close-combat mercenary.

2 priest are for your mass-heal.

1 CLose-combat mercenary is for your decoy so you don't die if you're seriously weak.

Radiant Armor is a piece of shit. I have a Gladiator with like 250% or about there armor plus. It has over 700 defense! Radiant Armor is a piece of shit compared to that.

Flamberge can be bought in Gavada. As for the Vorpal Sword, I don't know if it's even in the game, let alone where it can be found.

Can you play as the other characters during battles?

Yes. You can only play as other characters in battle, on the field just the main character. U have to go to the menu screen and choose who you want to play as.

Hunter class-

1) do some of nanaly's requests in dopland until you get either mabu tofu or mabu curry

2) go to the Aililly guild and look for quest mabu curry

3) after giving arche the mabu curry, go to the guild or plaza for a scene with chester. he will give you the invitation which requires 100gp

get your fighter to a good high lvl like lvl 40-45 then go to gavada and if senel is in ad libitum you should see the quest test your skills with senel. Defeat him then talk to him after you finish the quest and he will give you the ninja invitation
