why do other people say "they shouldnt have died"... this last part made this anime epic, that's why you can say it's one of the best anime's of it's time.

the ending is so sad i loved Chrono and Rosette together they shouldn't have died and why doesn't Chrono get a grave ethier with or next to Rosette's even if he was a devil he loved Rosette and should be by her side always it's not right...
@salormoon13 Maybe it's kinda late, but if you didn't notice, in the grave is written under Rosette's name: "A devoted believer who dashed through the brilliant light of life" "Chrno - Dearest Friend and devoted protector". That's why I think they're buried together or beside each other.

One of the greatest animes I have ever seen! I just don't get the part where ion was still alive that time, I mean we all saw chrno rip him in half, so how the hell is he still alive? And I wish chrno and rosette could have kissed and been hugging or something at death. They did have really passionate feelings for each other. They shouldn't have died either, I always hate it when great characters die and they did. Made me cry...
@Andrewj247 I really don't know,I think since it is around alot of prophesy and stuff they're playing on aion as the person who tries to imitate God,as suspense ,to make us wonder what he is up to.Really though the manga clears up alot of stuff ,if anything it gives more insight on aion's plans better than the anime ,plus it ends a little differently.
