People said the very same things about Mary J Blige's voice as people nowadays sometime say about Alicia's voice since it has changed a bit, I love Alicia's powerful roar she is one of a kind or should I say one in a million bc I have yet to find a voice that could emulate that raw genuine emotion and tone that she possesses, and when she sings u KNOW its her and never mistake her for another. I think the VMAs are just another example that Bridget is far better. No vibrato, nothing. It doesn't sound good to my ears and she even starts the chorous too early near the end of the song.

@agatmiri She did use vibrato in one part during that performance and her belts were resonant in that performance not just loud. Alicia Key's tone was beautiful in that performance. I am aware of her execution of the song and that performance was great. Bridget Kelly is great, but no one compares to Alicia. She was the one that co-wrote it with Jay-Z and she composed it too. The credit is still definately deserving of Alicia Keys.

I guess at this point it's just a matter of taste. I definitely prefer Bridget's performance, I am convinced that she IS the better singer, she has a very powerful voice and that's what I think. Alicia Keys may be a good song writer and composer, but in my opinion there are many better singers than her. However, in the end it is a matter of taste. You enjoy her version, I'll enjoy Bridget's version =O).

Alicia Keys sang this song from her heart and it makes me mad when people try to take away something for her. So covers can be better than the original, but it's all about interpretation.

Es war die perfekte Szenerie mit dem Sonnenuntergang, alle am Feiern.

Jay hat mal locker ne geilere Drum-n-Base Performance als Pendulum hingelegt, und nen besseren Auftritt als viele andere Bands. Wenn Irgendwelche Hampelmänner das nicht sehen wollen, dann sollten sie die Setupliste vom RaR studieren bevor sie hinfahren. ;)

Jay hat nicht enttäuscht, sondern eher die Erwartungen übertroffen.

Die Dinger mit Linkin Park Parts waren einfach zu geil.
