Brilliant. I was an hour builder based out FIT in melbourne FL.on a PA28 obviously your more experienced but hey, brings back a lot of happy times flying in the States! looking for work in Europe now hopefully something will come through. Happy Flying!
Fantastic video as always Rick. I have a question though. During your before landing checks, what are you actually checking when you say 'camera, action'? Thanks.
@n425tuj In the Cirrus, Camera is said when I check the flaps setting and Action is the boost pump which you turn on for landing in case of a go-around. I say the same thing before takeoff for the same stuff.
Do you have an instrument rating? I did mine a few years ago with the Garmin 430's. It would be great to see a camera on the GSP once an approach is loaded.
I believe that 168SR has the advanced package that displays the approach plate.
Rick, I have seen all your videos and I really like all of them!!! I've been a flight enthusiast all my life, one of my goals for 2011 is to get my PPL. I finished reading the Jeppesen Private Pilot Book and using my Microsoft Flight Sim and seeing your videos have helped me a lot!!! I wish you the best for this new 2011 and I really hope that one day I could edit my own flights just like you. Regards, Eloy
Great footage! I was surprised to hear you calling left downwind while I could clearly see the end of the runway off your left wing, until I realized that there are crossing runways. Nice landing too!
Rick, how tall are you? I hope you don't mind me asking. Reasoning. I'm 6'3" and climbed into the cockpit of a Cirrus during Aviation Summit. I love the Cirrus, but found that there wasn't quite enough head room for my comfort.
@ronraley Hi Ron, pardon me for chiming in, but I'm 6'2" and I have NO problem whatsoever in the SR20. I even have to move the seat forward somewhat to get a good reach on the rudder pedals, so I know there is room to spare.

Just some food for thought on a future video :)
