Our Basset Hound would howl if I played some wolves howling on a DVD or if our Dalmation howled. He was such a character! Best dog I've ever had!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your comment. We actually trained Benji to howl on command simply by howling like you see my daughter doing in the video and then over time he started to copy us. Be sure to praise them when they do it and a food reward helps too. It took about a month to get him to do it every time. Now even if we are across the other side of the house and we howl at him he will howl back. It puts a smile on my face every time.
