Funkhouser is so funny lollllll. He's such a slink out in this scene. He's commending Larry and Jeff for offering up one of they're kindneys for Richard Lewis, and yet he never took the test to see if he was a match lollllllllllllll. Larry tells him to take the test.
i think i always misenterpreted this - i always figured Marty unexpectedly changed the rhyme adding the 'My Mother' bit thus fuckin up Larry's plan but apparently thats what it is in America... i still laugh at that though
I always loved this guy. When I was a kid he was on the Smothers Brother's Show. I always thought he was such a hoot. I think he was also one of the writers.
Steve Martin and Rob Reiner were also writers on the show. My second favorite show in the world. The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson is my all time favorite.
Larry was totally right on this one.

"and out goes Y O U" = 6 syllables, Funkhowser's version... I think he modified it on purpose, just so Larry was picked.
