There was a board made in the early 70's (you may know it) called a "Big banana" same shape as this and everything correct except they did not have the back ramp and different heels that you could get for 12 dollars at Zumiez.(Thought you'd guys would like to hear this. Look it up if you want.)

@themichaelnuckles i recently got one and i love it to bits man. its flexy but not too flexy to make it feel delicate, as for razor-tailing, just take care of it and make sure you dont chuck it about too much. and "is it hard to ollie?" yes.... as a skater i think it is alot harder to ollie on this than a regular deck. but the positives definitely outway the negatives and i've been converted from my Plan B deck to this bad boy!

my one is the latest classic Penny and he's right about the Non - Breaking Part. they're supposed to be harder than a skateboard but i can barely ride a skateboard but i rock at riding my Red and Yellow Penny.

but your not gonnna be hauling balls like on a longboard :) its a really great board and so much fun to just play around on. highly recommend either Penny Skateboards,or Stereo Vinyl Cruiser

@BrownFlip7852 globe bantam cruiser, if you're not a skater it will be better cause its not as bendy in the middle, it's also wider. It rolls just as well as pennys. I know a few people who have pennys and when they tried my bantam they thought it was real good. My opinion.

I ride a I guess you could call it a real skateboard and a fized gear bike, bit I rode my buddy's penny board yesterday and I would have to say it was the funnest thing i've dorked around with. I am getting one as soon a I get paid. By the way I am 6'4 and 165pounds and I can ride a penny just fine. Nice video.

@Firedragon1657 for a begginner skater? maybe it is quite small. but it doesn't take very long to get used to, but to be honest mate i would learn to ride a skateboard on a normal sized deck. learn the basics in going up and down gutters and basic stuff like that. then you can move onto something a little faster and more advanced :) hope this helps

@onelovefutbol I would really not recommend it for u i got one and im size 9.5 and i struggle to ride it... im no skater either but if your used to riding a regular sized long board this will feel incredibly awkward and almost impossible to ride... my feet hang out on both sides when im riding, although... i did get some chick action when i went to school with it lol

@onelovefutbol honestly it'll take a bit to get used to with a size 11. You have to consider that this style was the standerd in the 70s, and not everyone had small feet back then, so you should be fine. I wear size 12, and while I do not own a pennyboard, I do own a vintage zephyr and a vintage g&s and although at first they rode a bit strange, it's not something that you can't get used to.

@m3boh3 It's too small for big feet. I bought something this size back in 1980. I was 15 stone with size 10 feet. I changed it 2 days later for a much longer and more rigid fiberglass board. I still have that one.

@MrOneyoung I had one of these boards for a decade. I rode the wheels off it. Other then barrings I never had any part of it fail.

People that are used to normal sized boards may not like a board like this at first especially if the trucks are extremely loose. Most of my friends couldn't ride mine, but if you get good on this board, anything else you ride will be a breeze.
