  • @ mariostar22 same :):):):)

  • I'm getting a corn soon!!

  • Did she seriously just say feed it as much as you want? You only feed Corn Snake's once a week depending on size every 8 or 9 days. You do NOT feed it more than once a week, doing that will cause it to regurgitate and thus not eating for 2 weeks due to Rib movement.

  • @EbonZephyr i feed my baby corn snake every 5 days

  • @EbonZephyr Corn snakes are also prone to obesity. Feeding them too many meals can make them fat if it doesn't make them vomit.

  • I'm getting a corn tomorrow c:

  • She knows nothin about these it's 23 years in captivity and 7 feet long dibstick

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU WANT SNAKE TO KILL THIS BITCH

  • ahhhh no not 15 years mine i had one for 22 years 2 months and one day

  • Don't know about anyone else, but I feed every week.

  • @BrittleTalks same

  • @MrPotatoNetwork My snake isn't even a year old and she's already almost 2 feet. o-o

  • @HidingExperiments So is mine. lol

  • @MrPotatoNetwork BUT MR POPTATO I JUS HEARD MANY OTHER SNAKES LL COME AFTER IT IF U EVER HAD A ISSUE LIKE THET THEN TELL ME

  • Idiot! You can't not feed a snake. While they are prone to over eating, that doesn't mean under eating is the solution. Both are VERY HARMFUL extremes. A perfect balance is required. And if your snake gets too big then THATS JUST TOO BAD! Just like that cute little puppy or kitten. They don't stay small forever. Don't think you can play God and MAKE them small. Its not natural OR right. Its genetic. Its like not feeding your kid because you don't want him to be over 6 feet tall.....

  • @MrPotatoNetwork yes when i get 14 i ll buy a corn snake

  • cute snakey :)

  • Why do these expert village videos always CUTT OFFF

  • They can live up to 23 years.

  • the expert village episodes always cut off

  • My dad is scared of snakes and won't let me get one is there something he should be scared of or is he just a sissy

  • I hate when ppl say that feeding controls growth, while this is true it more often leads to underfeeding to keep the snake small.

  • I'm getting a corn snake!!! for my birthday 27th of june yay!!! :D i cant w8 thumbs up this.

  • im getting a corn snake to!!!!!cant wait

  • well i have 2 corn snake and i heard they can live for 20 years not 15 years and top growth of 6 foot you fool!

  • @cropps07 She said they could get up to 6 Feet, moron. Pay better attention.

  • i love them i even kiss them

  • @Ritishique were do you live?

live feeding for me is way cheaper than frozen

  • is it ok to feed my new baby corn snake once every 7 days cuz the place we get our live pinkies only get new ones every thursday.

  • Nice. Starving your snake for your benifit. Let's all go and increase the risk of disease, malnourishment, and bad temprement.

    P.S. Nice ending.

  • It's recommended not to give ANY snakes live rodents due to the fact that they can bite the snake and potentially damage or even kill it.

  • should a baby corn snake eat a live pinkyy

  • Hi, I'm Debbie and I like eggs.

  • I've had my corn snake for about 10 years now , rescued him from the side of the road when he was a baby... does anyone know how much longer he will live for ??

  • im breeding my own mice any buyers will be here soon only have one snake so need to get rid of mice

  • ya rite i got m,ine as a baby its 2 monthes old almost 2 and a half feet

  • i have a corn snake!! hes beautiful

  • @MrPotatoNetwork 2 years and 2 foot long ? hmmmm mines not even a year old and hes 23 inches(24 in 2 foot)...

either you got a small snake or you aint feeding

  • Good imformation!!

  • "can live up to 15 years in captivity"... Yet my uncles is 19 this year

  • @TedWinni up to 15 is a wrong chose of words, in good care they can live up to 20 years, 19 years old ?? thats brilliant

  • @kaleluk31 Yup :) ive heard a man had a corn snake for 26 years.. i didnt get to see it but the man showed me pictures.

grew to about 5.2 but lived for 26 years man.. wish i had got to see it

  • I have 16 snakes 8 of wich are corn snake morphs I love pythons and boas, but i always come back to the colubrids theres just some thing about smaller snakes thats appealing to me... I would suggest snakes for first time snake owners and experienced handlers either way they can really produce some great projects......

  • i have 1 and its like 5 inches long..i would like to know if they eat yet and how often i have to feed her...IF SOMEONE KNOW THAT WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME OUT PLEASE DO IT

    THANKS!

  • @elfiera09 Yes. Baby corn's need to eat every 7 days, you should feed it frozen pinkie mice. Go to a local pet store and inquire about it and find out how old she is. Important.

  • @DarkBlood148 its quite common for young snakes not to eat, mine had to be fed my hand she was terrible yet i love her :) it may not be used to its habitat just yet, or stress could be a factor try giving it more places to hide it worked for me if this doesnt work try "pricking" the pinkie just making it bleed a little so that the snake can smell the blood if all else fails, consult a keeper near you. manual feeding is an option but it can cause further stress :/ hope u have some luck

    G

  • @DarkBlood148 what are you trying to feed him?

  • corn's can live up to 20 years stupid old lady

  • i have a white feeder mouse in my aquaruim and it wont eat it ?? i dont know why pls reply if you have something to say

  • @romantheskater it could be too big, live could be the problem, or your snake could just be fussy, there are numerous reasons.. Try offering a pinkie or somthing obviously too small for your snake, that might encourage it to eat. My adult corn just came off a couple moth feeding strike. I don't know if it was because of the season or what the problem was but she's back at it now, even bit me when i went to pick her up after taking the rat out and putting it in the feeding container.

  • so thats where corn flakes come from :/

  • man i want a corn snake now

  • i fead my 2 corn snakes once a weak

is that ok to feed them once a week

  • @MrsJadehall if they are grown up once a wake if they are younger twice a weak

  • ya that's great, starve your snake so it will be easier for you to deal with.... :(

i have a corn, she's bigger then that and about 3 years old...

if you can't afford to feed and house your snake then DON'T GET ONE!!!

P.S. i bread rats for this reason, they get expensive to buy and i like to feed live. if they get too big that i think it will take too long for her to kill them, i prekill them for her just befour i drop them in with her. QUICK AND PAINLESS.

  • @MrCoryjohnson1 mines 4 years and is still very small, she issmaller than the width of my pinky, and 2 feet long, i feed her 2 pinkies every 5 days or 1 fuzzy a week, and she's not growing, i have her in a 40 gollon, shes still tiny idk why

  • @cdlabelsideilive rat pinkies or mice? i have 2 little ones also now and i feed them.. well 1 is a better eater the the other, i feed him rat pinkies and he rats 2 at a time and i feed him every week or so, maby less then a week. Try offering her more at one time or a little bigger prey. the rat pinkies i feed are about the thickness of my little guy and he eats 2 in one sitting. Feed them as much as they want to eat, espically the babbies, they eat more to grow.

  • @MrCoryjohnson1 I was wondering if you knew how often i should feed my 1 yr old male corn? i only feed it once every 7 days now.

  • @smokahontas23 all depends on the size of food you feed and your individual snake. If the meal is big enough once a week is enough.

  • @smokahontas23 give 2 pinkies. as babies is gd

  • @MrCoryjohnson1 lmao bread

  • @MrCoryjohnson1 how do you pre-kill a mouse?

  • @k3ri4 I have been using CO2 for rats. I rented a container for the local welding company. (shielding gas for a welder). there is servical disocation but i don't know how well that would work on a mouse. I havn't fed a mouse in a while but when i did, it was either bought already frozen or i fed it live. CO2 is probably the best way i can think of for mice. Try looking around on here to find how people kill mice. Thanks and hope this helps.

  • @MrCoryjohnson1 how do you prekill them???

  • @simplybusby which, pinky rats? I squeeze them just behind the shoulderblades until i feel their spine seporate. They do gasp for air a little but but this is so far the fastest (and i think most painless) way i've found so far to prekill them. If you have any suggestions i'd be more then happy to hear them :)

    Thanks

  • @MrCoryjohnson1 Oh wow.....thats intense. My friend just flicks the back of their head really hard and kind of stuns em.

  • @simplybusby sounds like it might be ok but i like to know they are dead befour my snake starts digesting them. :)

  • 6ft what a joke knows fuck all

  • they actually will live to 2o years of age

  • I need help, one of my corn snakes isn't eatting and the other isn't actting like her normal self. What should I do?

  • @GoldDragon101 Take it to the vet instead of asking people what to do on YouTube.

  • don't worry about it now she is fine, and i got the one to eat

  • my uncle died and left me a male corn snake that is 6 ft long and 9 years old. ive never had a snake before. it lives in a 55gal tank with a heating pad under part of it, it has a water dish to swim in and drink from. but i dont know what else to do. do i feed it rats or mice? and how much, how often? anything else im missing???

    PLEASE HELP !!!!!

  • go to a corn snake forum . it had everything you need. you gotta make sure the temps are good. and it needs a hot side and cold side. feed it dead mice or rats

  • Hi Killkayla, my name is Mike and I see that you're having some trouble with your Cornsnake. Well at 6ft long you have a nice sized Corn. Eventhough you have never owned a snake you'll still be fine I think b/c Corns are one of the easiest snakes to maintain. The 55gal terrarium you have will house your snake for life, it's perfect. You could get another corn later & keep it with your corn. Feed him good sized mice, either 1/week or 2 every other. Make sure he has fresh water at all times.

  • Reptile Keep's Guild: Corn Snakes.

    the book is by BARRON'S

it reatils for about $12 canadian and tells you pretty much everything you need to know about corn snakes.

  • 0:17 did she say porn snake??

  • @ill, mhmm i think so 'o.O

  • it is up to 20 years and sometimes even longer

  • wow, beautiful snake

  • corn snakes are kinda gay, boas are a lot nicer!

  • I luv the pattern on that snake. But mine better. :) LMAO

  • Dont over feed your corn snakes just becuse you want it to grow faster, i feed once every 10 days adult corns every 2 weeks, corn snakes are prone to getting horible looking lumps in there lower body due to being to fat and once there there its hard to get rid of them

  • mine looks just like that one...

  • my corn snake has a 3ftxftx2ft around a 70ish gallon my corn is 5.8ft long so ...

i dont power feed it or anything once a week shes 9 years old and by the way corn snakes can live up to 18 years in captivity not 15

  • power feed ???

  • god shes holdin th e snake so werid she dosnt let the snake be

  • I have this same snake but he's a baby i love him soo much haha

  • I love my snake as well, he's a 3yr old Okeetee corn snake, and I'm convincing my friend's parents to let her get a corn snake too. They're just the best pets you can get.

  • Yup

  • im geting one on friday there so cool ill probly breed them u can get alest 1k a clutch.

  • Sadly no my friend. When you factor in your costs, you're looking at a hell of a lot less than that.

If you want to breed something and make money, you should breed something live bearing, so you can forego the costs of incubation.

  • Its ok im not planing on breeding this perticular kind of animal any more.

  • im getting a corn snake tomorrow i love them!!

  • You should do some feeding videos.

  • @yoipod46889 good idea i got one today its a candy cane corn it is so tame. at first i was gonna get a ball python but i saw the small corn and i just had to get it.

  • @yoipod46889 you lucky son of a bitch

  • @yoipod46889 i got one today!

  • @yoipod46889 Lucky....

  • so wheres the rest of the vid ?????

it just stops right there, this is bollox

  • ofcourse cornsnakes have theeth !! how do you think they hold on to there prey and stuff o.O with there thumbs or what ? .... xD i mean c'mon .... o

  • XDXDXD ah ha ha XD

yur comment made me laugh XD

  • ...They do have teeth, they're small.

Mine made the mouse bleed like hell, they can't do that with no teeth easily. :l

  • thier teeth are super small though ive beeen bittien by a full grown gorn and it kinda felt like i scarped my arm on the sidewalk...

  • I've worked in the pet trade and had reptiles my whole life. Been bitten by rat snakes, corn snakes, all the way up to an 8 foot boa constrictor.

Most painful bites I've ever had have been from hamsters that did not want to be sold that day.

A regular size hamster causes pain when it bites. A 9 foot snake just striking you isn't really painful.

  • True rodents have sharp canines

  • Hamsters have sharp canines.

Ever been bitten by an angry rat and hamster in the same day to make a good comparison? Nothing bites like a hamster

  • I thought only predatory animals had canine teeth?

  • Alright iam getting my first snake soon and i was going to get a corn snake how often do they bite? and how bad it hurt? and how big should the cage be. 10 gallon 20? 50?

  • when you just get them most will bite, but then tame down. the bites are more suprising than painful, but it takes a while to get used to, and they usually just draw a little blood. an adult would be happy in 20-30 gal

  • they never bite but if they do and if their babies it dosent even hurt .but if their adults it will sting a bit. most corns are good in a 20-25 gallon their whole life but bigger is always better.

  • corn snakes have teeth alright!

althought there's a eating egg snake that is teethless... she just doen't need it

  • They totally have teeth. They are really little, though.

  • corn snake poss no danger to humans and they have no venom but the do have small teeth.

  • she dont know what she is talking about

  • FOUR FEET! YEA FUCKING RIGHT!!!

  • are they poisness

  • no they are not they are actully very interesting

  • nope there actually really nice

  • Do they really have no teeth?

  • no teeth? wtf u goin on about crack head?

  • they do have teeth

  • Maybe they meant fangs

  • haha my snake is way way WAAAAY BIGGER

  • GOSH YOUR WRONG!!!! THEY LIVE MORE THAN 15 YEARS!! They live for over 20 URGHH she makes it seem like they dont live long, but she doesnt know everything. She just sounds like she knows it all. ITS SO ANNOYING!!!!

  • you're right corn snake live more than 15 or 20 year like same dog age

  • im holding my butter corn snake right now :)

  • nice video

  • nice video

  • totally not=]

    an ull love it=]

  • dudes, i have a cornsnake, its called a morphtone cornsnake, and its 8 feet long red and biege, never bites and, well once it swallowed a little baby girl but thats about it lol...

  • Your breeder is FOS, six feet is a really large corn snake. 4-6 ft. is about as big as they're going to get. You show me an 8 ft. corn snake and I'll show you a Guiness BOR entry.

  • @maximiliaan1995 Guess what! I've got a 30 foot beaded dragon!! lol

  • BS. There's no such thing as an 8 ft. corn snake. Show pictures with something for scale and I'll believe it.

  • your retarded

  • good advise

  • corn snakes will grow to 3 feet. 6 feet is a record and 4 feet is possible but not too likely.

  • my male is 5 feet. average is 4-6 feet.

  • she is meant to be a proffestional snake handler

and doesn't know what she is talking about!!!!

  • She has absolutely no idea what she's talking about.

  • hear that they do good in a 20 gallon tank but iwould go for 40.

  • what kind of corn snake is she holding?

  • I heard of a corn snake living 28 years!! But lovely snake in the video

  • what would be cheaper getting a corn snake from a Breeder or the store?

  • Well, to answer you question, it would be cheaper to get a snake from a store, but keep in mind that store typically get their animals from mass breeders, this means your animal could more easily contract diseases or already have malfunctions form inbreeding. You should probably find an experienced breeder or a reptile specialty store where people know what they're doing in breeding

  • kool thanks

  • I think probably from a breeder ♠

  • breeder, but dont watch these videos for advice! they are rubbish.

  • you guys are dumb do you guys n0 anything lol dumb old lady i hate expert village

  • 15 to 20 years? read the corn snake manual the record is 32!!!!

  • That's the world record, not a typical lifespan.

  • well i believe 15 years is too short for a reptile, they have low metabolism compared to mammals i believe 20 years plus can be easily achieved under the proper care and maintenance

  • Not all reptiles live a long time. Corns live 15-20 years average. There are other breeds of snakes that live longer, but corns don't typically. Another example of a shorter lifespan for a reptile are bearded dragons, who live an average of 7-14 years.

  • well 20 years sounds alright. its 2 decades lol i woudlnt mind a tortoise but the fear of having an animal that will outlive me is quite scary lol

  • really? I though bearded dragons lived longer. I know leopard gecko can live to be 20 or more.

  • Nope. They don't live as long as geckos. One of my bearded dragons just died at 8 years old and the vet said it was old age.

  • oh i'm so sorry. I was gonna get a bearded dragon but too expensive u know the lights. bulbsa tank and stuff. If I had a job i would totally had gotten one but leopard geckos are amazing as pets too just as good as bearded dragons but i luv any animal lol.

  • Its okay, I knew it was coming and he lived a good life. Beardies make awesome pets. They're less expensive if you get through a breeder instead of a pet store, that's what i did. I got two for $80 altogether, and we built our own tanks/cages for them. :D

  • ol thats really nice. I hope my geckos live that long. Do u hav any videos of ur beardies?

  • I don't unfortunately.

  • oh well thats okay i don't have a visdeo on my geckos either lol. U know whats wierd thouhg i have 2 and the guy tha gave them to me said they are both normal but my female amber is turning orange so now I think its a morph. I saw a orange bearded dragon and she was beautiful.

  • I have a fat tailed gecko (with the stripe) and a leopard gecko. My leo is losing his spots and purple marks as he gets older, I thought it was supposed to be the other way around..? Given, he was given to us by a neglectful owner, so..

  • oh thats really nixce of you :) I would luv to adopt one when i get a 40 gallon tank for my gecko. Yea i guess u got a morph then :) Hopw mine is a morph if it is it looks like it might be a tangerine.

  • I'm not sure if he's a morph or not, but I thought it was odd that he's losing spots/purple instead of gaining.

    That's exciting!

  • lol tell me about it :)

  • OMG expert village's videos make me SO MAD they stop right in the middle of a point and you cant find the rest of it

  • I like the caramel exciting cuz it changes colour when older

  • A healthy cornsnake can live 15-20yrs. They generally bite only if threatened when they are younger. Adults very rarely bite...mine never have. I think amelanistic corns are my favorite, they are red and orange. Okeetees are also pretty, which look alot like the one in this video
