the BBC is a joke. ANYONE, with half a brain can see this was a lynch mob set up against the BNP. There was no fairness at all given to Nick Griffin & all it did was demonstrate exactly how corrupt, controlling and stupid the BBC is. The same tactics they used there is what they do to anyone who stands up against them. England & the BBC have sold out to the billions in Saudi Oil money. BBC is the most racist, anti-British, anti-white, news station in Europe.

They want the BNP there in a small capacity as a warning to what they will bring if power shifts in their favour.

Griffin had an extremely poor outing on question time in which his views were ridiculed hastily by everyone present. He should have been on question time because of his party's representation and as expected provided a primitive showing.

FYI, the audience wasn't hand picked. And, EVEN if it was only 1 person out of every 60 in the audience should have been a BNP supporter or had far right leanings.

It's CALLED PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION. ONLY one person of every 60 in the UK voted for the BNP. It would have been unfair to have more than this represented in the audience.

But, that's not how it works, is it? You only want proportional representation when it suits you.

@sameel3- 1 person in 16 that voted voted for the BNP. They got 6.2% of the vote in the EU elections. The BNP got 942,000 votes. The UK has about 60 million people in it. But of course the popultion under 18 can't even vote. So the number that can vote is a lot less than 60 milion.

In Yorkshire and the Humbber they got 9.8% of the vote.

To say only 1 in 60 people in The UK voted for them is correct, but this is not to say 59 out of 60 voted against them, or even could have done.

Nationally, they got 2% of the vote for the elections they stood in. A fact that has been touted in many places. Guess what 1/60 is as a percentage? 1.6 % recurring.

So, yeah ... I was being generous to the BNP I suppose. If one out of every 60 people there was a BNP member or supporter, they would be overrepresented.

12.5 million children in the UK, 1/5 of the UKs population is composed of U18s.

50 million are voting adults.

Even if we take the 35 million that supposedly turned out, 10% of that would be 3.5 million, 5% would be 1.75 million and 2.5% would be 0.875 million. Again, they just over 2.5% of the vote, so lets just say 3 out of every 120 should be BNP supporters (since 1.5/60 doesn't work as a fraction obv). They were still represented fine.

I believe they were over zealous in attempting to prove that he was an extremist when it could have been done on his own accord. He should have been given more time to express himself if they should have invited him. It wasn't an ambush but it was most definitely hostile.

They did give him time. They sat there and asked him to clarify whether he STILL denies the holocaust (a fact he found amusing), and whether he is still anti-'miscegenation'. And he answered predictably on both counts.

He then tries to wriggle out of going to a KKK meeting where he said "OUR BELIEFS ARE YOUR BELIEFS. We're trying to sell our ideology, NOT sell-out but sell." And he gives the bullshit answer, "I was doing it for the kids, I was trying to de-extreme them". BOLLOCKS.

My point was simply: since they invited him to speak these view points, they should allow him to do just that. With reasonable critique and debate. It's problematic to debate with such bigot racism but the BBC appears to think we can debate it by inviting griffin on question time. We can't have both ways. either give him time or don't.
