This is a beautiful song. After I heard how she sings the first verse of this hymn then I got the depth of emotion behind this song and I am more able to sing it. For me, a song should not just be sung of words but what those words mean to my heart then sing with my heart and not only my mouth. This is what brings tears to eyes of some and touch their souls. When God called me to sing for my brothers and sisters then he called me to sing songs that speak to a brother or sister's heart.

I'm a Metal Head. Always will be but, I can listen to Selah all day long and never tire. Even sing along if I may.

Point is:

There is no such thing as "Christian music". It's the lyrics!!!!

And Selah's lyric's most often are lifted straight from the pages of Scripture.

What born again believer who does not like that ought do a gut check...

Let's stop squabbling over the type of music we like or not and pay attention to the lyrics before we judge one another. The world is watching!

He even tried to do things his own way when he killed the egyptian but he only got in trouble until God directed him in his time. (Ex ch.1-3) Anything we do will lead to our dishonor until we sumbit to God
