The longest I held it for was for 12 seconds somebody congratulate me. And for those who don't know how to do it all you have to do is press down b and as soon as you let go of b go for the c stick and keep smashing it upwards while still holding the left stick downwards

Infinite Cape isn't a "tech" it is a glitch. And in any decent tournament or ladder it's banned.

It's just as "tech" as wavedashing was. Your abusing a part of the game that says up smashing makes cape last longer. You honestly think that they accidentally associated these these two things?

The cape doesn't make you invincible, it makes you invisible. Cape wouldn't work.

That's both hilarious and disgusting to watch. I see why they banned Meta in Italy now. He seems like he's fast as or faster than Sonic. I can only imagine what it'd be like if you had two people playing. You'd IDC, the other would use the step jump to teleport to you and use a really powerful attack (Marth's Up+B much?) and step-jump out of it... God, that's 7 different types of broken.

Well, the thing is, they banned Meta-Knight not just because of his cape, but because he's a seemingly uncounterable character with too much speed, priority, power, and recovery options. He's got it all. And to top it off, he's small.

But banning a character altogether is a little pathetic. Just because someone's a hard match-up is no reason to disqualify him from tourney play. THAT'S what's disgusting. I'm not a MK user, but jeez. Fox wasn't banned, and nor was Pikachu.
