BUT if you look at the video of WCW Starrcade 1997 promoting the return of Sting, you'll have to admit that WWE took a huge inspiration from that promo to make the video they used for Taker's return on 21.2.11 (the two videos were indeed so similar that many fans believed that the one who'd had made his WWE debut was Sting himself).

So at the end of the day TNA, despite amking that stupid mockery of WWE, basically just used an old fashioned Sting's video.

@ROMANTIKILLER2 Yeah, even in court that would be difficult... Here the thing: WWE have the copyright on the video but not the character. WWE don't own The Sting, Steve Borden own the Sting from CWA and UWF days. But WWE own the right on the old promo, which was intrinsically based on the character "the Sting".

Basically, I think everyone shut up because a legal case will be bad for everyone and take years to be resolve... For a cost way greater than the value of that video.
