  • Awesome

  • kool how did u make it?

  • On your NXT dragster the wheelie bar at the back,if you push it closer to the body will it hold it for a long time but not as high?

  • @Wiiviewsowner

Install it in XP compatibility mode.

  • @MeAndMyBmx : Yep

  • @Wiiviewsowner : The 1.0 software might not install on Windows 7. Call LEGO Tech support for an update or a workaround.

  • I made this recently. It was straightforward and I had an excellent outcome, which I think was fabulous. I would love to know suggestions on manually driving the forklift without bluetooth hoverer.

  • You could use this for taking a beer

  • Is there anyway i can add a line detecting feature to this so it would be able to follow black lines?

  • @aerop210

if you see how much ports are used and if hte light sensor is used then no if the light sensor is not used then yes, u also could make / try to make an robot whit 2 nxt blocks that work together whit each other. 1 first rides teh lines then sends how to ride to the other brick and done

  • cool

  • wow nice robot

  • works well. nice

  • how much weight can he carry??

  • @michilijanos well i dont know but in guessing however much the bot weights and where the pivoting point is.... hmmm

  • ever thought of doing that but with a camera connected to a computer

  • I made this and used the program to control it with my keyboard, but then went a stage further and found another program (xpadder) so i can now use my logitech g25 steering wheel to control my nxt, but it cant use the steering wheel part to control steering :( anyone know how this would be possible, to use my g25 to steer an nxt model?? Thanks, keep the models coming for nxt 1.0 :)

  • aw awe awes aweso awesom awesome awesom aweso awes awe aw
  • very well done

  • is this robot the same as NXT 2.0 3-Motor Chassis and LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 (8547) by LEGO

  • This design is by the author and not the same as anything by LEGO.

  • is this for NXT original? i cant follow the instructions completely. i've never seen some of the parts before. i'm using NXT 2.0.

  • Yes, this one is for NXT 1.0. I will post a 2.0 version at some point. See the 2.0 section of the web site for all the 2.0 models so far.

  • yes it is!!

  • can you put up building info

  • Building and programming instructions on are on the web site, see link in description.

  • I have built all nxtprogram models that have the 3 motor chasis and they are pretty good, especially this one. Also I decided to make my own project on the 3 motor chasis and came out pretty well, especialy for playing around with Blue tooth.

Its a Robot Wars style With a Flipper. Could be cool for like a competition agaisn't robots, but the flipper isn't particularly strong, apart from the fact when it can flip itself over. Could u maybe help me with this?

  • yay, I finally finished making this project, now for programming!! and thanks for giving me ideas on of to connect parts.

  • Nice work=)!

bdw do you think it can lift a mass of arnd 70 grams?

  • Probably, but not sure, give it a try!

  • Will it work with my phone? That has Bluetooth.

  • Maybe, but you need to get the right application running on your phone that is compatible with your phone. There are some out there that people have made, but unfortunately, many phones are different. Sorry I can't help much with this.

  • If you have a mobile phone like a BlackBerry or sth like that, it maybe will work. Oterways I think it doesn't work.

  • Impressive!!!!

  • awseome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing, i think i will build that, sence my laptop dont have bluetooth, would the mindstorms dongle work with the remote control program?

  • Yes, the Bluetooth dongle works. If you can get it to work on your computer, that is. Unfortunately, Bluetooth is tricky and some computers don't seem to like it. I have only gotten it to work on 1 of my 3 PCs so far...

  • kool because i wanted to make sure so i dont waste $30 or $40 on a bluetooth set

  • how much is the max lift?

  • It can lift 6 inches high, and as far as weight I don't know, I didn't test that, but the robot starts to tip over when you lift and drive with heavy things, so that would be the limitation unless you fixed the tipping by adding weight to the back, rebalancing, or some other fix.

  • Neat

  • Great design idea.

  • That is one of the best ones you have made!

  • Cool

  • NICE!
